I had such an amazing dinner tonight at XR. I would suggest this venue for a date night, business lunch/dinner or special occasion. Reminded me of the eateries in Monaco... very high standard in both taste and presentation. A fab menu with just the best dishes and perfect portions to go with cocktails. Definitely going back to try the other dishes very soon! x

Amazing dining experience, the food was of the highest quality and presented perfectly! Have been to XR on a couple occasions now and great with a large group! Service provided was second to non with great attention to detail at all times. The tomahawk has to be one best in London and is must when visiting. I look forward to coming going back.

I have visited XR a few times for their summer time brunches and also for casual dining in the evening and I have always enjoyed my experience here. I chose to celebrate my birthday at XR with 20 of my friends yesterday and everything was just fantastic. The food was delicious and we even got to meet the chef Carlo Scotto. The cocktails and shots tasted amazing and were very well presented! And the staff that looked after us were absolutely incredible - very organised and polite! They even gifted me some flowers ❤️ Thank you for a great birthday - my friends and I will definitely be back very soon! Highly recommend the Lamb Sliders!!!

Xier is the posh evening only establishment upstairs, the casual dining XR has a shortened menu which I assume replicates what's upstairs. Quality is excellent, price reasonable. Portions, nouvelle cuisine size, but filling, especially for lunch. The decor is minimal, all white and chrome. The sliding windows were open offering a refreshing breeze. In the sun, outside by quiet-ish Thayer St it looked very pleasant. I ate indoors and had the 3 course set lunch for £30. Beautiful succulent lamb sausage with potato puree and grilled pear followed by hake on spinach leaves, with yoghurt and salmon caviar, artichoke crisps and a scatter of blood orange. Delicious. Dessert was a mixed ice cream & sorbet dish. All superbly cooked. Wine a bit pricy by the glass. I wouldn't change a thing. Thought it a lovely environment for a chatty or a business lunch. Everything was classically understated except the cooking, exactly how it should be and all the more enjoyable for it.
