This place surprised me, it was very quaint with pleasant decor and music. The young lad who served us knew the menu and described in good detail. Food was amazing, I wanted more but a full stomach wouldn't allow it. They boxed the leftovers for us. The only downside is the entrance is a little deceiving being on the far right and nearly walking into someone's house, and a little chilly at first but the heating kicked in. Overall very good and would recommend.
Never been disappointed here. Lovely fresh ingredients, wonderful flavours and friendly service. The terrace at the back is lovely in the summer months. The mango spring rolls are an unexpected little treat if you have room for dessert. The only thing holding back the 5th star is that the service is a little slow.
Great little Vietnamese restaurant in Victoria park village. Traditional Vietnamese dishes alongside more classic Asian ones. Every single one I tried was tasty and well cooked, with great flavours and spices. The restaurant is small and intimate with a small garden for the summer which gets covered up I'm winter.
I really like this restaurant. I've been a few times and the food has been great each time. The menu has lots of interesting options, much more so than some of the other Vietnamese restaurants nearby which mainly do pho or bun bo hue. Please bring back banh xeo though! We visited today and had another lovely meal enjoying the sun in the outdoor seating area. The manager had a lot to contend with as there was a table who were being a bit unreasonable and dramatic. We still had great, friendly service and we'll be back soon
Nice little place with cozy decor. Prices a bit higher than other viet places in east London, but we really enjoyed all the dishes we had. The pho was great, as was the crispy squid (super tender) and spring rolls.
Vu Viet is amazing! I would definitely recommend it to everyone. I booked a table for 18 people on Saturday evening, we had the 3courses set menu and we were amazed of how every dish was so fresh and testy. Delicious!
The place it's beautiful and the staff super friendly. A must go!
This was a most pleasant place to eat on a warm June evening. Enjoyed everything we ordered. A new revelation was coffee Vietnamese style - delicious ! Excellent friendly service. Would def go back.
Warm friendly staff.
We shared starters fragrant ribs , Viet flat pancakes, and pancake rolls , squid, only enough room left for dessert had to skip mains, the desserts are a must try the delicious, fritters and the cheesecake is a winner. , 😋 👍
Just came back from a lovely meal with my family on a hot Sunday afternoon. Good service, slightly long wait (30 mins for starters and mains each) BUT the food was very good, especially liked Thit Nuong (chargrilled pork) and of course the Goi Guon. Made a nice change from the usuals on Kingsland Road, with a clean, interesting interior and lovely staff. Look forward to returning soon!
All the food looked so good I got the waitress to pick her favorites for me, and she picked well! Food came out quick, was hot and presented beautifully. Highly recommend!
