Little Pitt

The food here is consistently incredible. Bone marrow mash (say yes to the occasionally offered shaved truffle add-on), perfect ribs, pulled pork, pig cheek, and an array of creative specials for the more adventurous diner. Decent whisky based cocktails and craft beers too. I'd visit more often but the queue is a nightmare.

There is no reservation policy which includes all parties have to be present to be added on to waiting list and you can not walk off or you be crossed off the list. Hearing all this you might just want to go elsewhere. But people do wait and one evening one of them was me. We waited 2 hours for a table of three and we were debating throughout whether to go elsewhere. Which we was patient enough not to. The restaurant is small which will be a factor for the queue. The main dining area is downstairs which caters around 16 people. There are some seats upstairs which is the bar area. We started with sharing the caramel ribs which was beautifully cooked that the meat comes off its bone. The sauce also goes well which has a tangy taste. The pulled pork is known for at Pitt Cue and it was just a delight to eat. When some one said to me, that you won't want Bodean pulled pork after trying Pitt Cue, I can not disagree. But of course in terms of price and quantity then Bodean wins. The main meat dishes such as the pulled pork comes with one side of your choice. I choice the bone marrow mash which was a nice creamy mash. But it got a bit too sickening with the lard taste which I suspected came from the bone marrow. The dishes are not large at Pitt Cue and dining here is not cheap. Out of the dishes we called I thought the pulled pork was the best, which looked like a complete meal that is served in a rustic tray. The quality of the food is good. Although some dishes can be too fatty and would not be for every ones palette. Would I queue for two hours again? Probably not but may be if there were a better queueing system or just by coincident it was a time and day when it was not that busy.

Massive cult following for this place, and I can see why. This isn't a very big restaurant at all but it's definitely a special one. I loved the informal nature of everything, and how easy going all the staff are. We pretty much ordered everything on the menu as well as a round of cocktails. SO so good. Make sure you also get a round of the pickleback (tequila shots and pickle juice)!

Went there a few weeks ago whilst on holiday in London. The ribs were out of this world. I also tried the pulled pork that was accompanied by seriously tasty mash. Also had the lamb dish which was cooked to perfection. Apart from the wait to get a seat, I'd go as far as to say it was the best meal I've ever had, and I had eaten at Dinner a few nights prior to Pitt Cue & Co!

Already planning a return visit. If you're prepared to wait 45 minutes and like meat, you're in for a treat. We put our name down, had a couple of cocktails outside and were eventually called in to the tiny restaurant downstairs. Listen to the waiter. He recommended the jowl scrumpet and it was absolutely delicious. Pretty reasonable prices for both cocktails and food, given the quality.

A charming little restaurant with great staff fun tasty food. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. The food and drink is fantastic and well worth the wait (unless you're savvy and get there early to avoid the queues). Do get the scratchings and a beer (their own brew) while you wait! Definitely get the unbelievably good slaw and a side of the amazing marrow mash. The music was quite loud in the small space and it would've been great to get a side of apple sauce or some sauce on the side... Overall a wicked place!

Bone marrow mashtastic... You have to try it. Thankfully I made my first visit without having to join long que's. Though we had a 10-15min wait upstairs in the small bar (not ideal with parents around sadly its just too small). Staff was good. Pretty much explained the whole menu which was handy. Menu wasn't huge which was great for a small venue. You don't really want to spend ages in there. I enjoyed the lunch and drinks. Place just too small.

I've been to Pitt Cue a few times now and every experience has been superb. They make some of the best food I've ever tasted - simple dishes done extremely well. Great sausage, ribs, pulled pork, and other tasty meats are on offer, alongside creamy bone marrow mash and tasty veggie chilli sides. Pitt Cue's drinks are always good too, with a wide selection of excellent American bourbon and rye whiskey and well-balanced cocktails. Their staff are friendly and are willing to let you know a bit about the interesting provenance of their dishes and the environment their pigs are raised in. It's not the cheapest place to eat, but it's not bad for Soho; the portions are generous and I've always left feeling that the money was very well spent.

Worth visiting, if a bit hit and miss - first two times I ate there, food was fantastic. Third, some of the food (American-style BBQ fare) was on the cold side and our sides were bland. Service is efficient, although it's hard not to be for a place with so few tables. The absolute worst thing about this place is the no-reservations policy, which means there's been a long wait at the bar each time I've been (up to 45 minutes) - irritating when you just want to get stuck into some proper food, not nibble some scratchings by the door. Based on most recent experience I don't think I'd have patience to wait in line again.

There is only seating for 18 and you'll have to queue a good hour or more just to get in the main door! But it is well worth the wait! Don't skimp... try a few sides while waiting upstairs. The crispy skins are not like any potato skins you have ever had. The menu changes every day. Great atmostphere, super friendly service, and awesome food. What more is there?
