Petit Bleu is a sweet little cafe nestled on a picturesque street in London Bridge. Only a 7 minute walk from London Bridge station, this quaint establishment feels remarkably far away from the hustle and bustle of the Shard, doling out yummy treats, lunches, and snacks at awesome prices!
The cafe itself is tiny, seating only about 30 or so, if I had to guess. Stone table tops, mismatched art on the walls, and a close atmosphere offers something both eclectic and cosy. I wouldn't call this one of those relaxing cafe spots for a drawn-out afternoon of writing or working on your laptop, though. The turn over seems pretty fast, though, in fairness, I was there during the lunch period (around 1:30), and it seems very popular!
It's no surprise. Not only is the food lovely, but extremely affordable! I had an amazing chicken, avocado, and spicy hummus wrap for £3! It was delicious and huge! I couldn't even finish it, and I have a pretty healthy appetite at lunch time! The hummus really made the wrap for me-- in fact, it could have used a bit more! I really want to try the halloumi and hummus wrap next!
I work nearby and this is my regular place to buy breakfast or lunch. Absolutely love it! Delicious bagels, sandwiches with different fillings for only £4, can be toasted too. They do smoothies for £3, hot meals like lasagna for £7 or jacket potatoes and of course different types of coffee. It’s small and cozy, you can sit inside and outside. They do takeaway too. Also you can have a loyal card and collect points for free hot drink! But the most important part of this place - people who work there. Very friendly, positive, fast and polite. They remember my breakfast choice , I even don’t need to say it )) Every single one works hard and efficient. I don’t know their names, unfortunately. I just want to say massive thank you for every person who works here. You all are absolutely amazing human beings ! I come here not because of nice food but because of service too. Kind regards, your regular customer Jelena who always has smoked salmon bagel toasted for breakfast :)
Unbeatable prices, great service, very quick. Even some tables to chill and have a quick munch, simply fantastic.
Very cozy little cafe. I came in to get away from the rain and hungout for a little bit and it was a very comfortable environment. The bread for their sandwiches was delicious and the cappuccino tasted almost like tiramisu! I would definitely pop in again given the opportunity.
Yummy sandwiches and pastries. Many options for lunch and there is currently 3 options for meal deals between £4 - £5.
I had the peri peri chicken wrap and it was delicious!
The lunch time queue is testimony to the popularity of this place! Quick service too
Excellent cafe, I used to work around the forever and haven't visited them in years. I was surprised to find that their menu pricing appears to be the same! Fortunately the excellent wraps are also if the same quality. I will be back again!
Good coffee spot just a stone's throw from London Bridge. Very affordable too, especially given the area, £3 for coffee and pastry. Nice decor inside too
I ate two sandwiches back to back here. Really affordable and lovely place to have lunch.
I've just tried this place for lunch, as recommended by a colleague of mine at work.
Don't be put off by the queues, the staff are efficient although curt! This is no bad thing as you get your food very quickly, considering the amount of customers.
Fresh food and reasonable prices, what more can you ask for in London! I had the lemon and herb chicken with rice and salad, for a very reasonable £4!
Well worth a visit and likely to be my new lunch spot!
Freshest sandwiches in London!!
Sandwich and crisps will only set you back £3.50, and my god, those sandwiches are good. Goats cheese was my favourite! Perfect for vegetarians
One of my favourite places to get lunch in the area. They do sandwiches, wraps, jacket potatoes and chicken with rice all for around £3/£4. Staff are really friendly. There's an area with a few tables but it does get busy at it's so popular. You always get served quickly though. Definitely recommend!
