My fav restaurant great food and lovely attentive staff been coming here since our kids was little they are all grown up now so we bring the grandkids now and again
Excellent restaurant! Full of atmosphere. Great food. Attentive pleasant staff. Not too expensive (meal for two with drinks and starters was just over £40). My only minor quibble was the stop/start music but once they put on some pleasant background Indian music it was perfect. They even gave us shots to finish! I had so much food that I took the main home; still deliciously fruity the next day.
All in all an excellent restaurant; why have I not been before??
Fresh ingredients and so tasty. No better curry house around. Delicious.
An excellent East London curry house. Fresh ingredients you can taste in the dishes, and friendly service. A great local place to stop off for a good meal of an evening, or in preparation for a night out.
The decor is warm but not over the top.
Really good food but the standard of the delivery food is not as good as eating in which is a shame!
I didn't really know what to expect from this place as it's exterior doesn't look that appealing. It didn't really get that much better when we got inside as the decor is dated and it could do with some modernisation and TLC. Having said all of that, we were waited on by polite staff. We were promptly served our drinks. They've got a slightly broader drinks menu than most Indians I've been to. We nibbled on some papadams whilst waiting on our mains. I had the butter chicken special and my other half had the chicken korma. We ordered some garlic and cheese naan. We also ordered egg fried rice (which had big chunks of egg in there and had it not been so tasty it would have been off putting). Overall the food was actually really great. It's now my favourite local Indian restaurant. I'll definitely be going back. Price-wise this place also gets a tick from me.
Only had takeaway so far but I must say this place is 5 star for me. The railway curry is amazing the lamb is tender and tasty. I will be popping my the shop next time to try some new dishes and the atmosphere. Please don't stop doing food to this high quality we are lucky to have you in the area as I struggle to find consistenly good takeaways. See you soon...
Had a blast last night with my friends and family! I booked a table for my birthday, the food was super delicious and the cocktails absolutely amazing! They’re super friendly, they even brought me out a small cake with a candle, I thought that was super nice of them. Definitely going back again!
Ordered a takeaway - arrived super fast! Excellent food - the king prawns were huge! All piping hot and generous portions. Great range of vegetarian dishes available too. Will definitely order again or visit the restaurant. Thank you!
We love Flavours of India and can't understand why it's not packed every night. In a cost of living crisis in London, getting 2 meals for under £25 is rare, and it tastes sooooo good! The portions are excellently spiced and large in size. The service is great, really friendly waiter tonight. My only complaint is the white wine isn't very nice, but I'll just choose another beverage next time. It's also great for coeliacs and vegetarians.
Very happy indeed called up 2 hours before and the restaurant was able to accommodate my family. Presentation on point attention to detail and the waiter was very good with my children. As it is my daughter's birthday this week the waiter lit her a candle with a small chocolate pudding and ice-cream. My daughter was overwhelmed definitely recommend this place. We will be back soon.
Not the biggest fan of Indian food but this place really brought the flavours. The service was nice and the food was really good. It was also for a good price. This is another place me and my wife will be coming back too. They deserve the 5 stars.
Absolutely fabulous! Excellent food, lovely atmosphere & first class service. As usual, we ordered too much food, but we took a doggie bag home and enjoyed it just as much the next night. Best curry we've had in a long time. Enjoyed the complimentary Baileys too!
Would definitely recommend.
The owner was so lovely! My partner and I popped in last minute, asking if we could order food to take away, which we did. The food was great, but even better than this was the service! As we waited for our take away order, the owner/waiter/barperson was really warm and friendly. He's clearly very passionate about his business and cocktails. On discussing the cocktails he let us try some and seriously they were fantastic. I haven't experienced lovely service like this in forever! It was really sweet. Defo go if youre in Leytonstone, it's cute!
What a gorgeous and friendly place to dine! I went solo dining and enjoyed the food enormously, especially my chicken madras! The manager Hassan was very welcoming and very hospitable and professional. Cocktails were very unique and divine. My second time here and I'll make sure to always pop in when I need authentic curry!! Atmosphere and decor were excellent too. Nicely located off the hussle and bussle of the high street. So you can dine in peace and calm. Bill was also quite reasonable Thanks guys!!
I saw some good reviews and I've had take away from Flovours of India, it lived upto expectations, really lovely food and nice vibe in the restaurant
