Soho used to be full of old-school boozers like this, but many have sadly gone (replaced with upmarket shoe shops, accessory-boutiques and whatnot), but The George remains. It's a small space, and tables are at a premium. Or stand on the pavement outside and watch the world go by. Staff were great on my last visit, and I was pleased to see Singha on tap, which is something of a rarity. Much like this pub.
A very traditional street corner pub in Soho, the George offers all you need. A warm welcome, good service, great beer and lots of lovely people. A delight to visit and enjoy the atmosphere.

Lovely place just off Oxford Street. We visited after work on a week day and it was rather busy. You can tell that there were lots of regular customers. I liked the window seeing with a view to the streets and busy London. Service is prompt, staff is very friendly and you have a decent variety of drought beers ales and cider.
Lovely hidden Gem
Small but lively Georgian pub with all it's features preserved from yesteryear. Expect the usual (but decent selection of beers on tap. Great for after-work drinks with colleagues.
