Tossed

I was recommended Tossed by a friend and I was not disappointed. This is a small venue with tablets to place you order on. The order system offers a good level of variety and customisation, whilst keeping the price clear throughout. I had a wrap but it was more like a burrito by the time I had finished adding items. The order it made fresh in front of you and the result was very tasty and enjoyable, I will be returning.

Wow! Finally found the perfect lunch salad shop! I'm from California where I'd happily eat salad for every meal, if it's done right. Sadly almost every salad I try in the UK is really disappointing or overpriced. I had the parmesan chicken salad and it was amazing!! Really great flavours, super fresh leaves, tasty toppings, every bite was delicious. And the price was amazing -- £4.99 !! Great value for money. Needless to say I'll be coming back for many a lunch takeaway!

Had a very tasty salad here for lunch yesterday. You order on the touchscreens on the right as you go in and pick up at the counter. There's a bench with high stools for eating-in. You can put together your own meal using the ingredients displayed on the touchscreen although for some reason egg doesn't feature as an option, although it does in the set meals. The cost of each ingredient is clearly displayed and the calorie count is given for your meal. With very tasty food and helpful, friendly staff, the only thing lacking here is a toilet.

I'm obsessed with this place. I come here almost every weekday morning for breakfast (I go to the Gymbox across the street early and then get food at Tossed). I used to always get a bagel with egg whites and avocado, but eventually switched over to the Gym Junkie (scrambled eggs, chicken, avocado, rocket, and piri piri sauce). It's so good!! All of the food is delicious. And the staff are extremely warm and welcoming. I come in the morning (often right when they open at 8 am) so it is not usually very busy and there isn't a long wait. For a while, when I went to the gym later in the day, I would come here for dinner (get the Mighty Mexican if you go for dinner!!!) and there was also never a wait. The big crowd seems to come for lunch (I think I've only gone once at lunchtime), but since most of the orders are salads, there still isn't much of a wait. I'm actually amazed more people from Gymbox don't grab breakfast here. It's convenient, quick, and healthy.
