On a sunny Sunday morning, I ventured into this place just before the clock hit noon. Let me tell you, folks, the manager and a staff member were like the superheroes of hospitality – kindness and professionalism at their peak! And let's talk cleanliness – the place was so spotless, I thought I had walked into a showroom, not a restaurant! Even the toilet was squeaky clean. You know a restaurant means business when their toilet game is strong! So, if you're in the mood for good food and a spotless experience, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. They've got a winning team and toilets that are cleaner than my conscience after a cheat day! 😄🍔🚽

Hi all. I dropped in after a hospital visit . I was tempted by the food that was delivered to the table beside me. I had a wonderful Fish and Chips. The batter was amazing. The chips were perfectly cooked. I have to admit that I was not expecting bar food to taste so good. Thank you so much for the great food and service. I will be returning.

Not bad as pubs go. Its perfectly located next to the Denmark hill train station making it ideal for a quick pint or two after work. They do not have many options in beer though. The ambience inside is nice and there is seating outside too just in case it is sunny.

Went here for Sunday lunch with the family and had a really great experience. There was a problem with our booking so we had to wait a little longer than expected but the manager was extremely polite and apologetic and bought us all a drink to compensate. The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly and professional and the building is really well decorated and clean. Would highly recommend their roast dinners as they are absolutely superb! Will definitely be checking back in next time I'm in the area.

This lovely pub is right next to Denmark Hill Train Station. We booked Sunday lunch in advance and upon arrival first impression was, very nice! Inside was clean and fresh looking, music not too loud and it was quiet on the day we visited. We were greeted by a cheerful staff member and shown to our table. Food and drinks are ordered from the bar, Three of us opted for the share platter and one had the fish and chips which when arrived looked delicious and tasted delicious, there was enough of the share platter for three people and was enjoyed by all. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

Just been nipping in for a quick beer while I’m working in the area. Friendly staff, great location, cool building and a sun trap on the terrace. I had the French steak dipping sandwich, which although impossible to eat gracefully was delicious and came with a beer or wine. Very friendly staff. Enjoyable all round.

What a lovely dog friendly pub! The Fox on the Hill which is a whetherspoons told us we were not allowed a dog in or outside the pub (which is absolutely ridiculous in my opinion). We then found this pub a little way down the hill. The food was amazing, as well as the staff and just a lovely atmosphere and outside tables. They even have water bowls and treats for our furry canine friends. Such a lovely little touch I think. See our food. It was Nachos, fried chicken with a really yummy sauce and Chicken Schnitzel.

A nice little post work meet up place. Dog friendly and a nice space. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food choice is not too bad. My chicken schnitzel was very dry but I’d defo try other dishes.

Meet up with my girls for a Sunday chill and catch up, with temperatures soaring to a lovely 28 degrees. This pub offered lovely seating area over the Denmark hill rail tracks. The service was good, the staff friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Korean friend chicken as a starter, and yes you guessed it a steak as my starter. The 30 day 8 oz Sirloin steak, cooked well done with beef dripping sauce and triple cut chips and some Halloumi fries. The girls ordered sharing narchos and roast dinners one with a quarter chicken and the othe 21 day sirloin, with side of Mac and cheese. I would rate my food as a 4/5 for the Korean fried chicken. 3/5 for the steak and Halloumi fries 4/5. The girls rated they roast dinners as 3/5 and the max and cheese 1/5( this was abysmal, it was burnt and looked like it was cook in a bowl in the microwave l, avoid at all costs). Otherwise the overall experience was great the drinks where flowing and the vibe was chilled. Oh be prepared for a little Helicopter noise (Kings college Hosiptal) as the helipad is less then 900 meters from the pub, so it gets loud very loud.
