Great hidden Gem!
Amazing coffee, delicious food and lovely atmosphere. I organised the birthday party of my little one in the lovely park were the cafe is, and the owner went to the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect.

The platform cafe is a beautiful community hub to enjoy delicious freshly cooked vegan and vegetarian food. It also feels like a home from home with welcoming and kind staff. I attended a workshop from nurish lab who are offering a series of free plant based workshops. It was incredible, the teacher described every ingredient and produce used on the day on how you can incorporate them to other plant based meals as well as the meal we prepared that day. Also the nutritional value. It was an intimate space about togetherness, about preparing a meal together and eating together with great conversations and having the chance to meet others from different parts of the community and taking the time to appreciate the quality and delicious meal presented in front of you. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for such an incredible workshop and I'm waiting in anticipation for the next one.

There's nothing not to like about this community cafe. Great vegetarian food, great coffee and wide selection of tea. Everyone is amazing, reasonable prices and a hub to learn more about community events. Love it!

Healthy and fresh food and lovely staff!
I go here weekly on my lunch break and even though I’m autistic and struggle with new things (esp. food), I’m always excited to try something new here. The staff has been very accommodating with my issue with spicy food and I’ve been given extra yoghurt or been advised to choose other dishes if spiciness was unavoidable.
The atmosphere is super home-y and calm. Their hot chocolate is delicious!

Great local community cafe supporting local causes too. Lovely location on edge of Wyck park, indoor and outdoor seating, a range of delicious vegetarian and vegan options- coffee, pastries, toasties, vegetarian lasagne is a personal favourite, weekend brunch. Menu posted daily on Instagram page

Special place with good coffee and affordable, healthy & seasonal food. Love that I often bump into someone I know, or can have a friendly chat with the staff. Always feels like a welcome space, with lots going on including community workshops and tech support for older people. I also appreciate that they provide employment opportunities for local people. Love sitting outside and watching the world go by on a sunny day!

I've actually had a takeaway meal a couple if times, but on this occasion, I just had a cup of tea as I was there for ClearCommunityWeb, a community tech assist group, who are absolutely amazing. The Platform is a community based cafe that has everything, from plants to pottery, on at different days. The food, that I've tasted, is original & delightful, as is the place it's situated in - if you can't guess, ask what the building used to be!!! I'd actually, also call it a tourist, attraction, treat too. Yes folks, it really is that original!!!

The lunches are delicious, and the cakes even more so!
We get takeaway lunches at least once a week. Looking forward to dining outside now the weather is better.
