The Regent is a cute pub in Islington popular with the locals. As well as lot of activity including live sport on TV, pub quiz, comedy nights and much more, thy also have a hidden gem which is their food. They offer authentic stonebaked pizzas with an array of toppings. For me, this is the only way to make good pizza.

So, plonk yourself outside on the couple of tables on a residential street or grab a miss-wooden chair inside and place your drinks order. A good selection of beers including Camden, Hammerton Brewery and gluten free lager. If alcoholic grapes are your tipple, they have a good selection of wines too.
On our visit, we were greeted by a medium filled room, it was early on in the week and the last few days before pay day, so it was understood. It was not our intention to have a drink, in fact it was supposed to be a quicky then home. Famous last words of course. It turned into a bottle and glass of wine and of course, the need for some carb goodness.
Omg the pizza's are lush. I ordered the spicy salami, aubergine and chopped basic pizza. My mate had the spicy soft Italian sausage with gorgonzola, fresh parsley. Roles were definitely reversed as I normally like it spicy with blue cheese! We shared slices anyway, so thumbs up. I wish this was my local pub, i suspect i would be in here all of the time. The pizza's are so good and the vibe is so chilled.
Lovely dinner
My friends and me dined here during a Sunday evening. We read about this restaurant on Zomato and wanted to try it, in particular because we love Pizza.
I tried the Goats cheese Pizza, which was good and was enough to make feel full.
For each Pizza we were brought the smell was really nice. The ingredients were stunning and fresh. We ordered also a couple of starters that were tasty and well cooked.
As usually in an Italian restaurant, the service was friendly and fun - at times we were explained what we were eating and every Pizza was explained by a really kind waiter.
I would recommend a visit to this restaurant at least once even tought Pizza was nothing special (I had better). Overall, food is good but nothing that left me impressed.
Organised a fancy dress leaving party in the hired space and it was fab staff were brilliant and really add to the atmosphere and chef was amazing. The whole thing was so fun and chilled, great value for money which is hard to come by in London. A perfect blank canvas for an event we had the best time thank you!
Booked the room downstairs for a birthday (about 25 people) and couldn’t be happier. The whole booking process was very smooth and the staff were super helpful and friendly, including on the day. Karaoke machine was an added bonus and we had a lot of fun. Honestly couldn’t recommend enough!
Really bubbling pub, all Arsenal supporters watching the game against Man It's. Level at the moment. Lively pleasant atmosphere. Great beer and great staff. Kitchen staff are sending out pizzas like there's no tomorrow. Glad I found the place! Also a great looking JukeBox sitting in the corner.
Fantastic pub with some really wonderful food. The veggie sharing platter is a must try. Great beer selection and warm vibes. Thanks Regent team!
The best Pizza ever!
Loving the chilli oil 🪔

In particular in my table the service was excellent I remember Antoine the guy that served me and my friends was very professional and him advice for pizza and food .
Thanks
Friendly pub serving a great range of beer and gin, as well as delicious pizzas. Unpretentious, chilled out staff. Free WiFi. Great place to spend a lazy afternoon reading the papers with one eye on the rugby.
A great spot to enjoying a summer drink outside, I went with my partner and was welcomed by a friendly gentleman, Kaleb, his service was excellent. A great way to start off a sunny weekend!
Went for a comedy night downstairs. Nice pub, good prices on booze for London and a good night overall.
Staff were lovely, seating was comfortable and not too far from the tube station which is a nice bonus.
Great place for beers and pizza. Nice area to watch the footie too and you can book tables in advance
