delicious cakes, fairly priced for the area, nice seating, really good tea in sensibly sized mugs!

Really great cake shop. Lovely moist and flavoursome cakes. The frosting is always fantastic. Also has delicious brownies, I thoroughly recommend the Boston brownie (or any of the others). You can buy cakes by the slice, or whole ones for occasions, and trays of brownies if you feel like treating your office mates. They also serve coffee and drinks and the staff are great.

Absolutely loved my Victoria sponge cake slices and plum tarts. The cake was moist and had a lovely smooth buttercream filling. The plum tart wasn't too sweet and wasn't too tart, but perfectly balanced. All the better to buy the slices from Too Good Too Go - an app that allows you to save food that would otherwise go to waste. It allowed me to be greedy and buy four slices for a discounted price, cheeky!

I hate brownies but a friend bought me four brownies from Konditor & Cook, they came in an adorably pretty pink box. I took brownies home intending to give them all away to my family but decided to try one and to soften the blow I had it with homemade vanilla ice cream. That first bite was amazing, I have never tasted a brownie so good, it was like a party in my mouth. I’m not a selfish person but I immediately regretted sharing the other three brownies.

Bought a birthday cake. Unlike many bakeries, this one has a great selection of large cakes for occasions or sharing (individual ones too, of course). The cake was heavy, rich, but not overly sweet - it was good. If I had to criticise something, I wish the assistants would wear plastic gloves when serving, ours touched the side of the cake with his hand by accident, but not too bothered, he was a lovely person.

Great cakes. Lemon and elderflower one I bought for my wedding was to die for, so smooth. And the almond wheat free tart was very handy for gluten free guests. Definitely worth every penny. Also like the fact that you can read about all ingredients online and to make an informed decision.

Absolutely loved it! I went with a friend to have a chat over cake. What an awesome cake!! They have so so so many options we just couldn’t make up our minds. I went for a slice of cherry amaretto chocolate cake, my friend has a pecan caramel brownie (I think that was the name of it). Both outstanding. We could really feel the cherry and the amaretto in the cake!!!! It was not like other places where you are promised a flavour and then you don’t even feel it. This was... just... amazing..!! The brownie, speakless about it!! Will definitely go back! Sad thing they had so few chairs and just a couple tables, so it’s not a place where you can agree with a friend to sit down and relax... more to have a great dessert over a short time.

The most passionate relationship I have ever had with a cake. It touched me in places I never thought a cake could! The cake was so moist and the cream just melted on my tongue. I wanted to throw myself on the cake display but I held myself back because I wanted to return.
