Funky Buddha Bar

Not too pricey, very friendly staff and interesting venue. I had the special house cocktail which was ok but not stunning. Music was good and staff carried drinks down the steep stairs to the basement. Reasonable cocktail and wine selection and very limited beer selection (one lager and one beer). The basement can be hired and seems to have a good sound system. Having visited Brickfields in Brockley a week ago I'd say that that was a better venue, but if I lived nearby Lagos would be a good local option.

Looking for a place to chill with good music and perfect cocktails then you want to be in this bar with a cool vibrant decor. Did I say you get to listen to live music that won't pierce your eardrums? The cool sound of the 🎷 with accompanying conga beats will surely get you moving. This is South East best kept secret.

It was my first time to visit and what a lovely surprise this place is! At first glimpse the place looks like a cosy and welcoming bar. Once you step in, you are welcomed by a fantastic staff and great music which you should follow to the basement floor. The fairy lights ligting up the room makes it feel very warm and almost magical. Lovely space for the music band (jazz in my case)/ dance floor or table sitting. Definitely recommend!

Had our Xmas party there in the downstairs room last Saturday and it was absolutely brilliant, Tunday and Jasmine were amazing hosts especially when he got his saxophone out and was jamming to the dance music, I would not hesitate to recommend this place and will certainly use Lagos bar for our next party.
