Whenever we come to the Sunshine Garden Centre, shopping for our plants, we like to take a break and we go to "Sol-e-Mio" Café", always serviced by wonderful staff. Today, we had the pleasure to be attended by Antonia, a lovely member of staff, who offered us not only a yummy menu, but she also welcomed us with "a smile on the face." A thing which is so rare nowadays.
I highly recommend this cosy place, with a very relaxing atmosphere.

This lovely cafe is located at the Sunshine Garden Centre. There were quite a few customers here at the time of my visit. I purchased a latte and a slice of cake as it was still early morning, to soon for me to have a sandwich or lunch. The latte was spot on and the cake, passion fruit and white chocolate slice was delicious. The staff were friendly, polite and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. You can choose to dine inside or outdoor.

Sol e Mio is a delightful cafe at the Sunshine Garden Centre. Being a bright, cheery and friendly place makes this cafe a lovely place to relax and enjoy their homemade delights. Big mirrors and specials boards hang on the walls. As it was tea time, it gave us the chance to indulge in cake. It was great that all of the cakes were covered on the table display and also in the glass fronted display. With so much choice and even after recommendations from the Sol e Mio staff and my friend, it was a hard decision to pick the treat. From the rich caramel shortcake, lemon drizzle, cookies, cupcakes to the fruit based apple shortcake and Danishes, what to choose.
