Great burger and kebab take away - clean and reasonably priced. Second best chips in West Norwood (I have been searching) and a excellent veggie burger made with a proper fake burger rather than a bean or vegetable patty. If I feel like a burger and chips this is definitely the place I would go.
A little while ago I went on a great kebab hunt to find a kebab house that make great lamb and chicken kebabs. South East London does not have a lot of great places that taste like real homemade food. I was daring and decided to get some kebabs from Efes Restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. Their salads were fresh and looked great in the chiller, the place was clean and the chips was made from potatoes instead of frozen fries. This place gets a thumbs up from me, now only if they delivered, then I'd be one happy bunny!
I've been a customer for over ten years. They've always been patient, polite, and always kind to my family when buying our food. We're a large family with five kids. Our food is always hot and tasty!
Would love to see some new additions on the menu! Maybe some sea bass or half grilled chicken!
Got the lamb doner wrap , it was £7.50 but it was HUGE ( the photo shows only half of the wrap after being cut in half). It was pretty good value for money .
I really rte the kebabs here the said is fresh and juicy with lemons and chillies. Good quality for what it is thanks I do recommend

Please read carefully.....I ordered last night after reading reviews and realising Dem don't deliver... As below the man said the chicken doner DO NOT ORDER it...I ordered the lamb chicken Doner Mix & Lamb and Chicken Shish
I enjoyed all of it and would order again but I would AVoid the chicken Doner like the plague it's tasteless with a aftertaste. The Lamb doner was delicious. They also include a lovely lemon slice and big green chillies with the salad which was greatly appreciated. Lovely salad tbh and some nice sauces...also quick delivery. It would be a 5 star if it was not for the chicken doner meat that let it down 🍗

I've been coming to this kebab shop for over 25 years, it is amazing, you won't find a better kebab locally. Anyone that has a bad word to say about it hasn't got a clue. My grandad used to come here all the time and he loved these guys, they treated him like family called him uncle. Thank you so much efes crew!
A few weeks ago a bro took me go this kebab shop. Medium priced place but I think the mixed grill we had was better than anywhere I've ever been, and believe me I've been to a lot of Turkish places. Presentation was amazing too. The complimentary salad was perfectly dressed. Etc. Nice chips.
And it was £18.95.

The shop has a lovely simple decor. I love the painting of the sheikh at the entrance to a mosque with all these tortoises around him. Whats it all about?!
I order tonight a mix shish with chicken and lamb with chips, pita bread, salad and chili sauce , mint sauce
The meat was absolutely great, cooked to perfection. Salad was great, chips, basic, nothing special about them, the sauces absolut delicious, homemade.
I was very happy with the order,the only downside was the portion of the shish, very very small.
I will definitely order again, top quality.
It's the best kebab place and take away in West norwood by far. I always had the chicken diner as I don't like lamb take away kebabs. It's only recently that I found the kebabs don't really taste the same which has sort of put me off slightly. The staff have always come across friendly. Though lately when I've walked in there I've noticed an unbearable sweaty smell, which has totally put me off of ordering food.

We love Efes, it's our local kebab shop and have been going there once a month or so for years. They're completely reliable, never got an order wrong. Friendly staff, reasonable price. The food is consistently good, recommend the chicken shish wrap or falafel wrap.
