I am very particular about my fish and chips and this shop was very satisfying. Great portions and wonderful service, but most of all the food was freshly prepared. I am now a regular!

Excellent food, service was a little slow, but it was a good size portion, filling and tasty. Atmosphere was good, staff were nice.

Just had a lovely meal . 2 adults and 1 5yrs old . Food was yum and service was lovely and attentive . Considering it in the middle of smelly woolwich I was impressed . Only grip was the over powering smell of chip fat all through our meal . Bit off putting but will come back . Loved it

As a northerner living in the south, its difficult to find somewhere that can actually cook traditional British fish and chips well. In my 6 years in London it's been by far the best.
It's only expensive if you're the type to complain Freddos aren't 10p anymore.

Amazing new place in woolwich worth visiting. Extremely fresh fish, homemade chips, polite waiter and nice interior. Family and quick meal friendly. Drinks with friends after a meal too ! Very recommended.

Good quality for the price, best cod and chips around. Would travel from far to come here. Great meal out for the family and a quality service provided by staff. Will be back often👍🏻

Great place for great fish and chips!
Although waiting time may be on the slow side, great food nonetheless.

Have visited a couple of times since it opened, and can confidently say that The Fishyard offer the best fish and chips in the Woolwich / Plumstead area.
The decor is cool, the friendly, speedy and polite.
Menu wise, you have all your usual fish and chip fare with the additions of burgers and steaks.
A couple of things I didn't like was that the long leather seating side had not been wiped down and a little cheeky charging extra for cheese and bacon in an already expensive burger.
Other then this, The Fishyard is a lovely addition to what was Woolwich's once dying high street.
