Originally left a 2* but as I live local and always go back after a drink, I must say it gets better each time and had it last two times sober and enjoyed it, also workers very friendly. Maybe just not great on busy nights, but defo got much better 👍

A happy find! Went to the roundhouse for a great gig and stopped here for dinner. What a lovely bunch of guys. Food great and service exceptional.

Had a lovely lunch there all to myself with food that was a lot better than I was expecting. Chips and nuggets were delicious and the staff were very friendly and polite.
I'm not entirely sure if they only take cash or if they accept NFC payments though but still, very lovely restaurant!

Their cod and chips are one of the best around, fresh, hot, crispy batter & big chips I just love. Kebabs are fresh & tasty, the staff work very hard, in a very busy area so it pays sometimes to be patient if you have to wait a little, as you may not be aware they're also organising food for prior deliveries! Thanks for all you've done over this trying and stressful Covid nightmarish, confusing time! I'll always remember you were the first place open for takeaway only and I sat on a bench on the then deserted Chalk Farm high road, as I recalled the local musicians called madness 'Living in a ghost town'! Eating my geourgeous Cod & chips! My first outing in 3 weeks! Ahhhh! Can't thank you enough!

After a night out drinking walking around in Camden we had to find a place to eat.
At high street we have found this place to eat. Very friendly costumer service.
Good selection of food 🥘 we also had a drink 🥃

eaten here a few times, having sausage and chips everytime, very nice sausage, and this place has the best chips i've ever tasted, nice warm comfy place to sit too.

Not much to say about this place, to be honest. They've all kinds of fast food on the menu. The main advantage I can think of here is price. If you decide to sit inside you'll end up smelling of grease, so I took a takeaway falafel. Tasteless and dry, in a pita that must have waited for ages there for somebody to grab it, it was one of the worst I've ever had. Visit this place only when you desperately crave something to eat.

I can’t remember the last time I ate a kebab, and certainly not sober, but I awaited my illicit parcel, tightly wrapped in fish shop paper and breathed in the scent of hot vinegar and grilling meat I felt strangely nostalgic for the days queuing outside Okabasi of Kent, on Canterbury High Street, after a big night out.

Marathon Kebab House is a local hammered foodie legend. It's a real institution. And there could be two definitions of that. Somewhere that's been in situ serving local kebabhounds so long that it's passed into popular mythology; or somewhere you get dragged screaming towards when you've lost your faculties and are desperately in need of an intervention
