Came here with a friend yesterday - delicious food, lovely staff beautiful restaurant. Highly recommend the Singapore noodles and the bao. Excellent tea too.

Review was for Fu House which has sadly closed :( (now Tofu East Asian Canteen). Ordered black bean beef and singapore/prawn fried noodles - and was not disappointed. Noodles were spicy and the prawns deliciously juicy and fresh. The beef was lean, tasty and well balanced/seasoned. Portion sizes were also generous (below is the leftovers!) and on top of all that - arrived bang on time as a take away. Very impressed and will be using these guys again - thank you :)

Newly refurbished, lovely airy space.
It was busy when we popped in, but we were seen to straight away.
The service was attentive and friendly! We were given the option of whether we wanted our starter dishes first or everything at once which was nice, The food was all freshly cooked, FULL of flavour and arrived in good time, but we never felt like we were being rushed. Also, portions are really generous!
You can tell the owners really care about people enjoying their time here :) must visit for a very tasty meal in Forest Hill, whilst supporting a local family run business. Win win!

Only two tables in use when I visited, but it was a wet Tuesday evening, and many takeaway orders went out for delivery while I was there. Traditional Chinese decor, a pleasant and helpful waitress, and the food was delicious. Worth a tip over 10% in my book, and that still won't break the bank 👍

This is the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten and is my favourite place to get a takeaway. It’s pricier than others perhaps, but it is so worth it. I haven’t tried others in the local area because as soon as I tried this one, I came back every time. The cooking is authentic and the ingredients are fresh and full of vegetables, which I love, including Chinese mushrooms, bok choy, and bamboo shoots.

My experience has always been consistently good, we usually order aubergine in soy sauce, fried green beans, lamb in cumin and mixed veggie noodles which always spread for at least 3 meals for two people. Recently tried sauerkraut&port soup, very nice! Prices on uber eats are much higher so best to order directly.

If you're looking for an excellent Chinese takeaway locally - this is it! We would now never go anywhere else. Plan ahead and order in good time but all food is clearly cooked fresh as spice levels are always different. Highly recommended the ginger and spring onion with chicken. Generous servings so we always have leftovers.
