Clean and convenient is propably the best way to define this place.

How it works. Pick up a plastic good contain of your size smallest I guess is 2£ and largest is 5. Or take a plate this will cost extra.

Walk in around the buffet counter arrangement and stock up our box with salads, boiled pulses, steamed veggies, sauces of your choice. Then comes cooked veg section had a definite options all good. Then comes the non-veg area all meat chicken and lamb present here. Did not encounter fish as of now. Then lastly the final dish is a fried samosas cocktail bite size ones.

The above box rates are only applicable if you are able to close your box. So be smart in packing your box.

Recommend this place if you are in the hurry. In the take away bag they also provide a plastic fork, condiments and tissue paper. So you are all set.

This place couldn't be simpler: a salad and hot food buffet and a box. Boxes come in varying sizes from small to extra and from £3 to £5. Tactics are key to maximise value as you queue past the salad first, but plenty can be crammed into even the smaller boxes. I opted for a large at £4 which is more than ample and great VFM given the ever increasing prices of London lunches. Alternatively you can pile up a plate for eating in.

Food and wine is absolutely amazing! Service is very pleasant however our waiter made a couple mistakes but nothing major. Overall great experience and I would recommend this place if you’re in the area.

Nice, clean and elegant setting on the upper level. Outside patio is nice place to enjoy a pint, not much of a view but the breeze on this midday in early August is wonderful. Plenty of seating throughout. A bit on the expensive side. Right across the road from Waterloo Station.

Nice little hidden bar that is more relaxed than others in the area. Nice roof top bar of the weather allows! Good range of drinks however slightly pricey so be prepared to pay for the slightly calmer environment. Didn’t eat however others food looked nice.

Friendly staff, good service, and good food (mostly). Beef bourguignon was tasty and tender. Moules were fresh and tasty. However, the escargots and fries seemed to be over-cooked. The escargots shrunk and quite tough.

Had to leave a review on our service alone, from the loveliest young man with semi long hair in black shirt. Even going out of his way to run after me to return my sunglasses! Thank you. You made our pre-theatre dinner effortless and enjoyable (you don’t often get as good service in the city).

I’ve been here multiple times now. My fave London restaurant. The service is brilliant and the staff actually seem happy to be there which is lovely. Always puts a smile on my face and I love sharing this place with others. The food is so good. 10/10 would recommend the duck confit.

Excellent pub next to the station, friendly bar staff. Go there Thursday nights from 8pm to see and hear the London City Voices choir have their post rehearsal sing along

Brilliant little treasure right opposite Waterloo Station by Waterloo East. Can't describe it well enough. Just go and visit, you shall not be disappointed

Landed up at this place on a hot Saturday lunchtime, purely by chance. Judging by the name, wall posters, menu, and £8 offer for two bottles of Kronenbourg, the place has French pretensions. Appetites suppressed by the heat, we opted for a charcuterie platter and a side of vegetables-all faultless. To top it all was the attention from Davis, our Latvian barman/server, whose efforts surpassed expectations. Will try the roof terrace next time.
