Was worth the walk, the apple crumble was lovely, hot and not soggy with nice custard.
Table was cleaned as soon as I sat down, pleasant efficient staff, the food for other tables that was served looked good (can’t help but have a nosey 😂)
The Alfred herring Wetherspoon is the best pub establishment I have ever been too. The customer service is outstanding! Breakfast is the best in north London hands down. Not too mention the value for money on the drinks and food with a wide range off options too pick from. Very multicultural, the people are extremely friendly and polite. Last but not least the hot drinks are refillable! what more can you ask for. Mem and his colleague today was amazing! very friendly and welcoming! If your reading this review I strongly recommend you come and visit!
Really nice atmosphere and the service is very good. Parking is a slight issue with it being on a main road and side roads being one way now. There is a car park behind the McDonald further down. There are different buses that pass through so you can get the bus there instead of driving.
Phone service is difficult to get when you are deep inside the pub.
Always a lovely place to relax, eat, drink, and chat with family and or friends. Steak tonight!
Customer service can vary, but prices are cheap compared to other pubs. Good selection of food. My friends had the fish and chips.. I will eat something vegan, which they do offer on the menu which is great. Always busy and lots of customers that stay a long time lol. Update 05/02/23 Prices have increased a few times since last year. Food always good. Bogdan (shaved head) is a lovely manager, helps that he is very sexy too! 😉 😇
I was trying to kill some time as I had an appointment which I was early for so popped in for a glass of wine. The pub was very clean, spacious, cheap and cheerful, so went back for lunch. They have an app to order table service, which I initially had an issue with as I couldn't connect wirelessly. Eventually after going to the bar to order a main and drinks I managed to order a dessert and more drinks through the app, which as the pub got busier I felt it safer to do so.
Nice environment, good attention, affordable prices and good quality-quantity-price relation. Beautiful local with this kind of British feeling and aura in the air. Cheap beers , what else?
Great food for the price! There's a weatherspoons closer to me but I travel to this one as they cook the food well and the specials they have are amazing value for money. Breakfast menu is the best priced anywhere too!! Highly recommended for a bite
Normally good, but when too many young people are there, too much noise, as they shout, not talk normally. I feel staff there should be more aware of this problem and control them. Otherwise it's fine !
