A great small & intimate bar serving a few of their own London made Czech beers. Abe is a very polite and helpful barman. ask him for tasters and recommendations!

for the 5 stars for food please read 5 stars for the beer, both the pilsner and dark beer are flavour packed, excellent versions of their type served by wonderfully friendly bar staff in a most agreeable environment. Well work the walk over from Tufnell Park, we´ll be back, thanks a million, Catherine

Amazing service and introduction to Czech beers from the bar man Abi. 5 stars to him for his accommodation and willingness to pour the mix dark and light beer mix after various attempts. Nice chilled vibe. Will def recommend and come again.

Best beer in London by far! Simple but straight to the point. Amazing Czech style lagers. Lime Lager amazing for summer, definitely my favourite.

I discovered this venue a few days ago, when it was shut. I just had to go back. Any outlet that brew their own beer had to be worth a visit. It so happened to be a warm afternoon making a cool beer very welcome. There is a reasonable amount of seating area outside. Inside is cosy/cramped. At the time of my visit they had only four beers. I went for the hoppy NZ. It was good. I'm going back to try all the others. Incidentally, they also serve gin.

The best local around - incredible craft beer, down to earth atmosphere and super lovely staff. Proper community gem 🍻 They are a brewery and make the most delicious ales. Amos is my favourite - crisp, clean and goes down a treat 🍺 Sparta is darker, stronger and has more rounded fruity notes if you like it hoppy 🌾They have a small outdoor area at the front and also serve a lovely gin & tonic.

What a lovely bar! Wonderful staff and AMAZING beer! They've made me fall in love with Czech beer, and the fact they brew it themselves is brilliant 👏🏼 Personally I'd highly recommend SPARTA, which is a strong and tasty beer, you wouldn't need more than 2 to feel very jolly 😉

Visit: 10 February 2020 Went along for a private tasting session as part of the Czech Beer Club. First up I should admit I'm not a lager or indeed a pilsner fan but always eager to expand my horizons and a tutored tasting session didn't seem a bad idea..until I was on my 7th half and wishing I'd not been so adventurous. The beers were good as was the stories behind them but sadly too much lager for me to appreciate in one sitting. I very much enjoyed the darker beers, Raven and Agnes but the rest I'll leave to those who'll appreciate them more than I will. If you find yourself in the area and you like Czech beer, this is the taprooms for you.
