It's a bit of a soulless bar, but the design is nice and so were the cocktails. It's a very big underground area that has hidden spots. No particular music or service. While the photos and past reviews suggest there would be food, that was not an option when we visited
Great venue, old Victorian wine cellar vibes. Really innovative cocktail menu and warm and great staff. Really lives up to the name bolthole as you can literally descend into the venue and time just rolls on by. Nice little simple menu that is perfect for a lunch stop off as well as great wines
I like Jamie's. It can get a bit busy, Thursday and Friday - though not always - but it has a great vibe, decent beer selection, and the food isn't bad. Great for a quiet conversation with a friend, or a larger table gathering. I'm a frequent visitor, and am always happy to return
