Our ravenous family of six came to get a quick meal to prevent us from killing each other off. Got a table fast (in the neat and cool basement) and the staff took our orders immediately. But alas: Our oldest daughter is vegetarian and their veggie burger was sold out?! No problem: the kitchen made her a veggie curry not even on the menu! All food arrived within 10-15 minutes. Big portions and value for money. Fed 6 people for 33 £. Only downside is you can't order beer/anything alcoholic. They only have soft drinks. Not an issue for us but now you know too. Recommended.

Thier grill chicken is perfect and consistently cooked on all the various occasions I've been there. I've even bought thier chicken to cater for small family functions.
Not tried thier other menu items, but the grill chicken is ace

🍽 Mix Grill for One- 1 chop, 1 sheesh, 2 piece chicken and 3 wings with a side of chips. I have been here a number of times now and the food always tasted delightful. The marinade used on the food is mouth-watering and compliments the meat well. Although, I would personally recommend to smother the meat with grilled onion as this tickles your taste buds.

🎭 Service- The staff are always friendly, efficient and prompt and tend to your needs accordingly.

🛋 The place has the seating downstairs with two cubicles if you like some privacy. Though the seating in the cubicles can be slightly uncomfortable due to their size (no, I am not overweight I just like to be a comfortable when I indulge in my food ), the good food compensates for it!

I like this place. The food is cheap and executed well. The meat platters are a must. However, don't expect too much from the service (it isn't that kind of place). Seating is downstairs in the basement - nice and dim for private dining with friends

My favourite Donner place. I really recommend the spicy jerk Donner, it's amazing.
There's few HMC places that can offer this combination of quality and quantity.
Service is also good.
