Top place propa hiphop banging food lovely staff you can't go wrong highly recommend

The food was honestly better than some 5 star restaurants I've been to.. I'd thoroughly recommend the seabass if you're a seafood lover! The atmosphere in the venue was great too... good music, great service... everything was 10/10!!!
I came to Chip Shop with a few friends and we got cocktails and nachos . The nachos were great and the cocktails were good too, especially the lychee martini . Staff were super friendly and l’ll definitely be coming back.
I really love the atmosphere here. The music is loud and good enough for me to consistently have Shazam open (the buzz of happy people makes it hard for the app to work though!), the staff are great and the food tastes amazing. I had the vegan cod bites which came with a beautiful dill dip and a delicious cocktail named after my favourite tribe song! I also loved the prints everywhere you look, especially N.W.A under the Brixton rail bridge. Can’t wait to come again when there’s live music

First impressions really count, and I was not disappointed. My friends and I were greeted by super friendly staff on coming through the door. As soon as you enter you will notice its a shrine to hip hop legends, with photos and artwork of the best rappers in history. The vibe is very relaxed with great music. Bare brick walls adorned with framed pictures are plentiful. A couple of TV screens for watching sports etc. The food was very tasty and the drinks menu although not extensive had enough variety to keep us all happy. The menu is cool as they are in a vinyl cases, and instead of pulling out an LP you pull out the different menus for drinks, food etc. At first I was wondering why they had laid out the Vinyls on the tables, so it was a fun surprise. The prices are very fair too. I am definitely going to come back here on a Friday night and see what it's like. For me a friendly vibe is the main thing i look for and it's that thing that keeps me coming back, and I shall be back. Big thank you to all the staff working today!

The atmosphere in this place is great, the music is really good if you are not a music lover then maybe not for you. The food menu is not complicated in fact it is very simple but it is well presented and tasty and I think reasonably priced.
They make fantastic cocktails in here so try one or two.
Staff are really friendly and it has a lovely ambience. Would highly recommend a visit.

Banging music & drinks. Was served by a lovely young lady who’s outfit was immaculate considering where she worked. Propa baggy old school look… Reminded me of young Soulja Boy ! Had a chat with her and it made my night. Wicked vibes throughout. Bless ❤️

Totally loved this place. From the host, the bartenders all the way to the DJ, it was fantastic. Will definitely be going again.
Great venue. Been here for many hip hop related events. Now they have introduced football.
We were there quiet early. So had some drinks and sat at a table. As the football started the waitresses were very pushy about us sitting at a table. I did inform her that I would be buying food later. But throughout the whole match it felt like there was this constant threat of losing the table because we were just drinking. I eventually ordered food but my friend did not.
I think if football is being shown in here then either you have a designated area for football fans. Or don't make people feel awkward about sitting and watching the game. I don't live locally, I'm from north London. If I come out to watch my team I want to do it hassle free.
There is a pub across the road showing game. But I would rather help a small business and support the culture by watching in Chip Shop.
Great vegan options here btw. Vegan fish n chips was wonderful. Many other vegan dishes too.
