Have only been here a couple of times, but love it! A proper old-fashioned"caff" with all the usual things on the menu - great chips - and good portions. There are people there who've obviously been going for years, and the staff know them and they know the staff. A lot of the customers know each other too. Even I have seen people there that I know! A very nice friendly place.

We visited yesterday on a recommendation from a friend who eats here pretty much every day. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent too (Especially the fantastic Potato Pancakes) Would definitely go out of my way to eat here again if I was in the Hackney area.

They were very generous and even increased my milkshake size when I asked them
They are generous and they are extremely clean, they keep every type of food separate so if you are a vegetarian you won’t need to worry
