You have to get there early for a loaf of the delicious focaccia - it’s the best! Shame the store is so small, the queue is outside of the door on weekends so I usually avoid. Hard to even squeeze around in the store.
The bread is really nice.
I love cinnamon burn.
Coffee is good,too.
Gail’s located on the busy commercial street of Wimbledon village. A very lovely and residential area.
The pastries available have a good variety. The coffee is not extraordinary.
Space inside is very limited. Although a few tables are available, the tables are very cramped together - not much individual space.
Price is fair. 3 pastries work out around £8.
That's one of the bakery, which smell like bakery. In the absolutely positive sense of the word. Unfortunately there are no many tables there so I can enjoy atmosphere of bakery only when I wait in the queue, and the que is there almost always. For some reason there is no possibility of cash pay and I saw few tourist left dissatisfied
Always busy, delicious vegan hot chocolate & they used to have a delicious vegan hazelnut chocolate treat, not sure if they still do. Worth the money in my opinion :)
It was nice, scones were good, we forgot to ask for cream, hot chocolate arrived cold, ending up sitting downstairs... other food looked yummy...

Food: 5/5. Bakes are all mouthwatering. I've not had anything that doesn't taste perfect. Their loaves of bread are varied and all offer something tasty to try. Coffee's pretty good; their iced coffees and teas are great.
Service: 3/5. Polite and quite friendly, but although I've been there when it wasn't full, they've forgotten half of my order twice. 😅 But upon asking, they immediately bought my food over.
Price: 4/5. Fairly expensive, but worthwhile for high quality baked goods. The lunches are pretty hefty at ~£8 for avocado and salmon on toast, but that's about the same anywhere in London.
Very nice baked goods, the smell that comes out is amazing! I tried almond croissant and I loved it.
Great addition to this section of the high street. Lovely pastries but some members of staff need a proper customer care induction course. . .active listening, empathy and the ability to use positive language - all help to maintain an ongoing customer relationship.
Great cup of coffee & freshly baked pastries & bread. Lovely atmosphere & loads of sitting areas!
