Winnicott

Nice, quiet local pub which - somewhat surprisingly - serves what is some of the best pizza I have had in London. In fact, I recently visited after a two week holiday in Italy, and the pizza here was a cut above any pizza I had there! I would give this place five stars, but in the past few months the ambiance has changed for the worse. The pub used to be very dark, with candles on all the tables, which gave it a wonderful, intimate atmosphere. More recently, the candles have disappeared; replaced by ceiling lighting which is a little too bright, and some rather garish coloured LEDs under the bar. Overall this place comes highly recommended, but Winnicott: if you're reading this - please go back to how you were when you first opened!!
