Good place to eat I enjoyed d edijankang
Best nigerian cuisine in London!!
An all time favourite Nigerian restaurant of mine. The food is unmatched in both authenticity and quality.
Start off with some goat ribs or ox tail and if you're feeling adventurous I dare you to try pepper soup. For the mains you could pay it safe and go for rice with either beef, fish or chicken. On the other hand you really want something unique try a swallow food such as pounded yam with a stewed vegetable mix.
Dare I say my favourite Chinese take away in Sheffield. Yes the food isn't particularly pretty nor is it authentic but everything it lacks in astetics and autenticuty it makes up in taste.
The portions are so large I tend not to bother with starters but if I do it will almost always be the ribs. Get any of the fried rice dishes but make sure you ask for the special spice even if you don't do spice at least try the mild version. It's not everyday I reccomend a curry from a Chinese restaurant but this is one of those days. Get the curry and choose your meat or go vegetarian. The oyster and satay sauces are also good alternatives.
I once trued the banana fritters and while they were decent it was far too oily for my taste.
If you're looking for a warm and inviting dining spot on Old Kent Road, this Nigerian restaurant is a must-visit. From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff immediately put me at ease.
But it was the food that truly stole the show. The jollof rice was absolutely incredible - I couldn't get enough of it! The flavors were perfectly balanced and each bite was a delightful surprise. And the portion size was more than generous, especially given the reasonable price.
Speaking of the staff, our waiter was a true gem. Not only was he attentive and helpful, but he was also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He made some great suggestions and helped us navigate the many tempting options. He even adjusted the tv to something more interesting for us.
In fact, we were having such a great time that we didn't even realize the shop was closing! We were so engrossed in our meals and conversation that the time just flew by.
Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant enough. Whether you're a Nigerian cuisine enthusiast or just looking for a cozy and delicious meal, this place is a winner.
This place is great! the staff are really friendly. You can tell making their customers happy is their main priority. First time coming here and definitely won’t be my last. Had the Jollof Rice with assorted meat which was 10/10. My new go to spot ! Highly Recommend.
I went to the restaurant and was greeted with a warm welcome by the excellent staff that work there. They were friendly, helpful and gave excellent customer service. I have tried the jollof rice with chicken and the pounded yam with okra. Both of which were delightful and extremely nice. I would recommend this place to any and everyone and they will definitely be seeing me again regularly. Excellent restaurant
The food is always amazing. But unfortunately they put their prices up. The eforiro is now £42 compared to £17 before. That’s crazy so I won’t be buying no more. But the food is 10/10
