I've been coming here for 10 years and although it's not as exciting as it once was, I was still impressed with the ambiance and quality of food. We shared the chicken liver parfait and the beef rib, which was cooked perfectly. The service was good and friendly if not spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

I enjoyed a fantastic meal with my girlfriend the other night. The House has a great atmosphere, we sat by the fireplace on a candlelit table with subtle, soothing music in the background. We had the endive salad and foie gras to start, followed by the venison fillet which was on special and the sea bass which were cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we even stayed for drinks at the bar after our meal. The House is definitely the place to visit for anyone in the area looking for quality British seasonal food or even a casual drink , and we will be back next week!
