NB Seems to be CLOSED for the present. All notices about hours and menu have gone from premises. No notice about re-opening. Great range of freshly prepared dishes in a cuisine that's still very rare in much of north london. Decor and style with originality and colourful flair. Its in the open part of the O2 mall so dont expect murky or intimate, rather lively and fun. Food suitable for vegans and carnivores. Tends to be spicy but mild alternatives if wanted. I love the peanut soup.

I live in the US, but come to London several times a year for work. I make a point of eating at Chop Like A Ghanaian (at least once!) whenever I’m in London! Excellent, authentic food made fresh, and many great choices for plant-based eaters like me. I’ve never been disappointed there!

An awesome find inside a shopping center! I always assumed that you could only find chain restaurants, but this was a real treat. Service was super friendly and helpful. We have little experience with Ghanian food, and they really explained everything. The menu is gluten free and vegan friendly too. Ordered the peanut soup with fufu. The fufu was absolutely awesome! Light and flavorful. The soup was good, but a tad too cold, and the meat was a tad too tough. We also got the plantain fritters, which were fried in fresh oil to avoid gluten contamination, and so crispy and good! Had I lived closer, it would probably be a Friday night regular.

I’ve made this place a go-to spot when I need Authentic African food. The jollof is spot on- spicy, hot, and freshly made. I also ordered the beef with tomatoes and onions, small but filling. The owner, is very welcoming, unlike some restaurants who don’t have customer service. I also like that you can get a filling meal for under £10 which is great!

Great, well made food. Speaking as a Ghanaian, I really appreciate how they make their food the authentic way with fresh ingredients (no shortcuts). Top faves are the beans and plantain (red red), jollof rice and spicy peanut and spinach stew (nkatekwan).

The best food I've ever eaten and I have tried a lot 😍 their peanut soup and dumplings was honestly to die for. I'll never stop craving it. Lovely staff as well! And almost all of it is gluten free and half the menu is vegan, with great allergen info on the menu!

I'm Nigerian and went to a local Nigerian restaurant nearby which happened to be fully booked. My friend suggested we try the Ghanaian restaurant instead; best decision we made that evening. Service is superb, the staff were very friendly and explained all the options as well as offering samples. The food was fantastic. And the staff allowed me to buy my own alcohol from Sainsbury's downstairs and consume it with my meal. Frankly, if I want to eat Nigerian food, I will go to a Ghanaian restaurant and definitely this one. I was so impressed that I am prepared to switch nationalities. Oh, and did I mention that its half the price of all other Nigerian restaurants? And I was the only black person there; non-Africans love their food.
