An awesome find inside a shopping center! I always assumed that you could only find chain restaurants, but this was a real treat. Service was super friendly and helpful. We have little experience with Ghanian food, and they really explained everything. The menu is gluten free and vegan friendly
Amazing, friendly and one of the best customer service I have received in a long time. The food was great and very tasty. The restaurant is clean and tidy. Great price. Thanks for giving me such an awesome service. Would you go there again?? Damn yes!
I found this place using the Happy Cow app and was excited to see multiple delicious vegan options clearly market on the menu. I had the spicy peanut soup with a futu and it was the best meal I have eaten in weeks. Not to mention the staff are super friendly! I'm staying in the area for a few days a
A very tasty food and as i am vegetarian, they have Vegan option too so really enjoying this. Good portion size and they always make it FRESH. Very friendly atmosphere.
Fresh and tasty, great music and atmosphere. We enjoyed our weekend lunch in this cozy little restaurant.
Had a lovely Sunday lunchtime here today. The new menu is great and has vegan options too!!! The peanut soup was delicious and the fried yam and pepper sauce was amazing (I wanted more!!!) and the staff went above and beyond to give us a real Ghanaian food experience. Love love love!!
I was pleasantly surprised to find a really good selection of vegan options. Chop offers great service and delicious West African food.
I was really excited to see this Ghanaian restaurant and was even more excited once I tasted the food on offer! The peanut soup and rice balls are my favourite! I've introduced a lot of my friends to the authentic Ghanaian food on offer here and they all love it! The manager and staff are friendly
I'm Nigerian and went to a local Nigerian restaurant nearby which happened to be fully booked. My friend suggested we try the Ghanaian restaurant instead; best decision we made that evening. Service is superb, the staff were very friendly and explained all the options as well as offering samples. Th
The best food I've ever eaten and I have tried a lot 😍 their peanut soup and dumplings was honestly to die for. I'll never stop craving it. Lovely staff as well! And almost all of it is gluten free and half the menu is vegan, with great allergen info on the menu!
The was my first experience here, but it will be one of many. The food and service is so good I stopped to write this review while still dining! Firstly everything is freshly prepared and delicious! There are vegan, vege, dairy, wheat and gluten free options to suit for all, I highly recommend this
I love this place! If I could invest in a company, it would be here. The food is amazing! I have loads of food allergies and I never react off anything here. My 9 year old loves this place too and gets very stroppy if I go without him. The workers are very nice and down to earth. They are very genui
I’ve made this place a go-to spot when I need Authentic African food. The jollof is spot on- spicy, hot, and freshly made. I also ordered the beef with tomatoes and onions, small but filling. The owner, is very welcoming, unlike some restaurants who don’t have customer service. I also like that you
I live in the US, but come to London several times a year for work. I make a point of eating at Chop Like A Ghanaian (at least once!) whenever I’m in London! Excellent, authentic food made fresh, and many great choices for plant-based eaters like me. I’ve never been disappointed there!
I have been coming to Chop Like A Ghanaian for several months now and am always impressed with the service and delicious, authentic food! My personal favourites include the jollof rice, oxtail and goat stew. Chop also has a wide range of options for vegans. The plantain dumplins, spinach and beans i
Plantain dumplings with beans and rice delicious, sweet and spicy, and just the right amount. One of four or five vegan dishes. Really friendly place too. And at the 02 centre great to have a bite for less than a tenner
Great, well made food. Speaking as a Ghanaian, I really appreciate how they make their food the authentic way with fresh ingredients (no shortcuts). Top faves are the beans and plantain (red red), jollof rice and spicy peanut and spinach stew (nkatekwan).
NB Seems to be CLOSED for the present. All notices about hours and menu have gone from premises. No notice about re-opening. Great range of freshly prepared dishes in a cuisine that's still very rare in much of north london. Decor and style with originality and colourful flair. Its in the open part
