Treacles Tea Shop

Have been a couple of times and loved it! It's a real, old fashioned tea shop with real china. Delightful. Having read some reviews where comments were made about children and an unwelcome approach....Who in their right mind would want to take a child into an environment with pretty China? Stick to McDonalds and leave the peace and quiet for those who appreciate this little diamond. There are plenty places for yummy mummies to go and I for one appreciate this haven. Keep up the good work Treacle's! I didn't have a cake but they looked scrumptious and homemade. My breakfast toast and marmalade comprised of two very large slices. Couldn't be more pleased and can't wait to visit again with my friends, especially as they have a quiet back room too.
