Absolutely beautiful roast, lovely atmosphere and the live jazz is a real touch. We had the roast chicken and the mushroom & chestnut wellington - both were delicious - and shared the sticky toffee pudding and the crumble. It was busy but service was great, very attentive and friendly. Would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a great Sunday roast. Dog friendly too which is a massive plus for us!
Attended a friends wedding here on 02.09.23 and I must say the event was breathtaking! Such a gorgeous ceremony in beautiful surroundings with elegant decor!!! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere was perfect!! A beautiful place for a wedding!!! The food was fantastic too!!!

I have been wanting to go here for a while and I was not disappointed. They had three vegan main options, all of which sounded really promising but I chose the wild mushroom wellington and it was one of the best roasts I've had over the last couple of years.
Aside from the food, the atmosphere was great, too. It's a bit of a hidden gem, you can't see the restaurant from the main road which makes it even more exclusive. There was also a live jazz band which added to the overall experience. The staff was very friendly as well and I will certainly come back.

We have been referred to this place by a friend, and I have to say, it was a great decision to come here on a Sunday afternoon.
This place is incredible, the interior is wonderful, the staff is lovely, and the food is amazing. We’ve ordered beef and pork Sunday roast and both of them was absolutely delicious, along with the wine. I loved that it’s family and pet friendly, and despite that it was super busy due to Mother’s Day, all the waiters were lovely and the service was quick.
We will definitely return here, and I can recommend everyone to visit this place, even if you have to travel long way to get there.

We randomly stumbled across this place a while back and saw Sunday Roast with live jazz music and just had to try it. We weren't disappointed. Food was great, staff very attentive and the setting is beautiful. Only thing that was a bit disappointing was the dessert for the price, but now we just know we don't need dessert next time. We'll definitely be back.
Another place for Sunday roast in east London. It is a beautiful country club type of settings and it is really pleasant being here. Staffs were really nice and friendly here. We had some beautiful Sunday roast and really had quite a lot of mixture of vegetables. I would say it is pleasant visit over here and would recommend people to come for a visit.
Best roast I’ve had so far in the local area, but is spenny!
I’ve tried the beef and the pork, pork is better as beef is cooked well done (the people want it medium rare fyi) but all the veg and gravy is seasoned superbly, which is where most roasties miss the mark.
Don’t order drinks, they’re a rip off, serve them in the smallest glasses so you get two swigs and it’s gone and also pricey.

Totally epic wedding venue to work at as a wedding photographer - stylish, full service, great food and a fab venue co-ordinator who ran the day super smoothly. It's got the look and style of the very best London warehouse venues without all the work that's associated with dry hire venues. A super cool gem of a venue.
Open only on Sundays for a roast, otherwise only a wedding venue. The place is beautiful, big, child friendly. The roast was incredible!! 4 stars because the live music was very loud so I couldn’t really hear much.
"Country club" conjures images of fields with horses, next to a golf club, with a load of expensive cars in the car park. This place isn't that! In some old arches tucked back from the main road through Clapton, this is a real gem.
We went for the vegetarian roast dinner and it was huge! It tasted great though. Followed up with a sticky toffee pudding that was lovely.
If I had to make 2 small complaints: it was so dark I couldn't read the menu in the light that was there, and the portions were too large (I left enough that I felt guilty).
