The best take away Chinese, too many price increases now in my opinion. The best Salt and Pepper chips and Sweet and Sour pork, Sweet and Sour King Prawn is good too, but only 8 Prawns if you're sharing not enough. Open kitchen so if you are picking up you can watch it be cooked.

Best in class for inexpensive Chinese takeaway. Highly recommend their aubergine, mapo tofu and green bean dishes which are comparable with restaurants. Super quick and friendly service.

Best Chinese food in the area. Very good and friendly staff and very fast service. They do only takeaways so don’t expect to sit inside and also prepare yourself some cash as they accept digital payment methods. I also have good feedback from ordering online from them, most definitely recommend!!!

Been going here for my cheat days. Really tasty classic Cantonese food. All your favourites on the menu. Everything is good. Massive portions. Like the prawn chow mein is enough for 2 ppl. Love the large spring rolls x2 per portion. Original style of cooking. Fresh ingredients. Open kitchen. Takeaway and cash only. You can watch the chefs cook your dishes. Free prawn crackers on orders over £10. Try the aubergine and mince pork gravy dish with rice. Sooooo good. Crispy chilli beef too! Gonna go there on Friday. Haha

I love this place. There's been a Chinese take-away at this site for the 22 years I've lived in the area. This one is the best. Typical 'British Chinese' menu, decent portions, well prepared. Neither cheap nor over-priced. If you live nearby, don't wait for delivery - go pick the order up yourself, it's usually ready to go in 15 minutes!
What are these reviews badmouthing Double Happy's customer service? Surely EVERY Chinese takeaway has a grumpy woman who can't speak English on the phone. All part of the experience.

Since its revamp a few years back, it can be considered one of the best local Chinese takeaway in South London. Close to borough station. The fact that their food is made in front of you had made this place the prefered choice with many people I know travelling a few miles just for this Chinese takeaway. Food allergy description provided on all their food. You can order over the phone for deliveries. Their staff are very friendly and make an effort to remember the preferences of their regular customers. They have a lunchtime menu has well. Please be aware they take cash only.
