Service with a smile. Excellent food at very reasonable prices (and even more reasonable if you have a tastecard! - 50% off your food order!) Highly recommend the Chicken Katsu Curry, Tempura Shrimp and Chicken Gyozas. It is impossible to leave this place still feeling hungry.

Went there 4 times in a month time.... Tells you how good that place is.... But I only tried sushi/sashimi/maki.... (and it's -50% with Tastecard) the only dishe I would advise to avoid is the gyoza.... Especially if you have tried proper one from Japan or the restaurant Taro (Soho)

I tried their Feng diet and on the whole the food was good, healthy and delicious. pricier than some of the London sushi chains but good. Delivery is good too.

Great place to eat sushi in the borough Market. Fast service, nice environmental and great food for a reasonable price. So if you like sushi go there.

Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around Southbank and decided to give it a try. Most of their dishes have a western fusion twist to them while remaining Japanese. Their seasonal menu seemed a lot more interesting than their main menu and I ended up ordering off that and was satisfied with what I got (seafood ramen). Prices are probably a little more than what I would pay for the same type of food elsewhere, but it's probably the premium for the location and being sustainable.

One of the nicer chains on the Southbank - sushi and unusual dishes made with ethically sourced fish. Everything I've ever eaten here has been extremely fresh and I especially like the "light and healthy" menu section with the very well-named detox broth, a tasty combo of tofu, miso and pak choi leaves. Decor's OK but this isn't a place to linger; fill up and head back out.

I'm very fond of Feng Sushi, and wish I could justify going more often. They are a chain, but their angle emphasises seasonal food, with a lot of slightly non-traditional variants on the sushi theme. This one has the advantage of location as well- right by the Royal Festival Hall, but slightly less likely to get filled up than a lot of the other places around here. The food comes quickly, so good for a pre-show meal.

Southbank is full of quite dull restaurants but Feng Sushi, with its seasonal menu and focus on sustainability, really stands out. The menu is full of dishes that I'd never even heard of - loved the salmon donburi with sticky rice and the deep-fried shrimp balls. Most mains are around the tenner mark so it's good value for central London too. If you don't mind sitting on a bench and minimalist decor then give it a go.
