Really good authentic food. The chai old fashioned was especially tasty! We had the pau bhaji, lamb somosas, kerela prawns.
A Flavorful Journey Through Indian Delights
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this delightful Indian restaurant, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of extraordinary. I opted for the Meat Thali, a divine assortment of flavors that truly encapsulated the essence of Indian cuisine. The variety of meats, coupled with the aromatic spices, made each bite a heavenly delight.
Accompanying my meal was the perfect cup of Masala Chai, a warm and comforting blend that paired exceptionally well with the crispy biscuits. It was like a warm hug on a bustling London day.
Despite its small size and perpetual busyness, the restaurant managed to maintain an atmosphere of authenticity and charm. The bustling ambiance added to the overall experience, making it feel like a hidden gem in the heart of the city.
While the service could use a bit of improvement, I must commend the staff for their efforts. Considering the restaurant's popularity, the service was still a notch above what you might typically find in London. The flavors of the dishes more than made up for any minor hiccups in service, leaving me with a memorable dining experience.
In conclusion, if you're in the mood for an authentic Indian culinary adventure, this restaurant is a must-visit. The tantalizing flavors of the Meat Thali and the soul-soothing Masala Chai will transport your taste buds straight to India. Despite the bustling atmosphere and room for service enhancement, the overall experience was one to remember. I'll definitely be returning to savor more of their delectable offerings.
Found by accident, needed a quick bite and a sit down. Friendly staff. Good music. Lovely pani puri and really good, fresh veg samosas. The rose and cardamom lemonade was nice too.
Will definitely go again.
Lovely food, cute atmosphere and easy access in central London. A little bit pricey and they were unable to provide warm water which is an easy enough ask but overall good and would go again:)
Food was good . Well displayed. We had the Pani puri, samosa chole and pau bhaji. Right spice level.
Cut a star only because they wouldn't take another fish order since i didn't order it initially, which I find strange - as the corn on cob chilli seemed interesting.
Great food and friendly service from the owner. Delicious food, we all ate too much to consider dessert which is unheard of for me!
Tried the samosa masala, Indian fried chicken and pau bhaji… great street food to have near Oxford st. Not too spicy or plain…
Also try their masala chai with complementary Parle g biscuits and limca ♥️
Great service!
Exquisite food and exceptional care and service. We had a truly memorable meal! Thank you Vincent and team!
Great for a quick snack or some lunch! This place offers a diverse range in street food packed with flavour. The small space inside makes the experience more authentic and adds to that Indian Street food vibe. Starters and sides this time but would like to try the mains next time! A positive experience first time around here!
Good Indian food, fast service, cozy atmosphere. Sometimes when they are overloaded, they miss the mark in the taste but still worth a visit if you are looking for good food near bind street
