Karbon Bbq

Relatively new restaurant in the QP area and I kept passing this place and it always smelt so good so decided to finally check it out. The price was fantastic for the sheer volume of food that is served. We went for the lamb donner and shish chicken (see photo for how much is served!). You would think with ample portions that the quality would be lacking however, the lamb was so sweet and succulent and not excessively fatty like at a "dirty post-boozer kebab" and the chicken was superb. The veg and dressing that accompanied were fresh and vibrant, colourful and crunchy and not overly vinegary. The rice was the perfect size and flavoured wonderfully. We ate inside as the weather was potentially wet although, after it stayed dry, we were envious of those dining alfresco. The staff were friendly and welcoming and were patient with the excited children around and the fact we took a while to choose our order. Definitely recommend - I want to go back and try the enormous sharing platter!

Tasty food and friendly service. Went for a lunchtime kebab. Had a kebab wrap and it was so filling and tasty. They also had Aryan on the menu which is a traditional Turkish drink. I also really liked that they give you first glass of Turkish tea complementary, very nice touch. Would love to try the rest of the menu.
