bare people complain about this place but IDC, it’s good… i just went at like 11:30 pm on a busy saturday night and got curry goat/rice n peas and sweet chilli wings and it was on point… yea i had to wait a bit and yea the service could’ve been a tinyyy bit friendlier but none of that actually detracts from the food… come on, the spot is open 24/7 and it’s always ram, you’d be a bit cold and annoyed in that environment too 😂 goat was tender and well spiced and the rice had good flavour too. their juices are actually 10/10 as well, especially the fruit punch and the sorrel/ginger, they always hit the spot. big up refill bun the haters 🔥

I just quickly ran out for some pepper prawns as I was feeling peckish; the services are always a pleasure the food has sometimes been hit and-miss. Minds you, I just had the pepper prawns this time, which is well on point 100%. 🙌🏿 also, I have to say there was a jacket that a customer was wearing, and on the back was a visit Rwanda message received.

Only come here if you’re desperately hungry. There weren’t many options for me after 11:30pm. The staff was def rude but if you had me packed in a box with too many people, I would be rude as well. Seeing them maneuver in that small space was chaos. Anyway my chicken was undercooked and the rice and peas lacked flavor. And the chicken patty wasn’t crisp. The food was edible and tolerable. This isn’t the Caribbean food I know from the states, sad to know this is what yall eating in Brixton.

SUPER DELICIOUS CARRIBEAN AT A GOOD PRICE! me and my lovely lady came here today! Definitely get the chilli wings with gravy if you can the flavour combo was to die for. Delicious tender curried goat. Really cool dumpling design. Idm that things are microwaved as it all tasted great! The man that served us was lovely and sweet! Our new favourite brixton eat :) thank you!
