Had a wonderful Sunday roast dinner here this weekend, had a pre lunch drink sat outside in the sunshine.
Prawn cocktail to start.
Roast dinners of pork with crispy crackling, roast chicken and a roast sirloin of beef. Heaps of gorgeously tasty roast potatoes, Yorkshire pud, stuffing, roast parsnips, carrots, brocoli and gravy. Selection of desserts but we were all so stuffed. But they had a choice of three.... cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding and a chocolate offering.
Would recommend and will be going back.

Wonderful Sunday lunch here, the menu had a great offering. Generous portions and beautifully cooked. The two ladies serving us could not have been more helpful. However this is a football pub and was quite rowdy while the match was on. I've dropped it a star because the table next to us were told to leave because their dog was barking, it was not handled in the beat of manners. Again great food and service menu attached

A good selection of beers, live sports shown, and an outdoor seating area. The bar staff are also very friendly, 10/10 would recommend.
The Nightingale pub is a very friendly place, serving good food, drinks and a great atmosphere while having a great green area , local shops and run by people who respect the area and neighbours, You looking for a great place to enjoy, what more can be said, try it , give it a try, then you can tell people of your experience 🏴☠️👍😊
Friendly local pub with a village feel and lots of history. Great selection of drinks. Very good, helpful bar staff.
Absolutely fantastic great for away fan's as we couldn't drink around the ground of orient we felt really welcome cheers to all the staff there
Very nice friendly staff, you can sit outside, I'm sure the dinning is good from what I could see.
Prices of drinks are reasonably priced.
Parking has never been a problem, but beer thoughtful not to park on double yellow lines even on a weekend.

Lovely pub, lovely beer, great Sunday lunch. Friendly staff, cheerful clientele.
On Tuesday's there is live music performed by locals. Very cosy friendly atmosphere. Good whisky selection too.
