Had a wonderful Sunday roast dinner here this weekend, had a pre lunch drink sat outside in the sunshine. Prawn cocktail to start. Roast dinners of pork with crispy crackling, roast chicken and a roast sirloin of beef. Heaps of gorgeously tasty roast potatoes, Yorkshire pud, stuffing, roast parsnips, carrots, brocoli and gravy. Selection of desserts but we were all so stuffed. But they had a choice of three.... cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding and a chocolate offering. Would recommend and will be going back. Thank you
Wonderful Sunday lunch here, the menu had a great offering. Generous portions and beautifully cooked. The two ladies serving us could not have been more helpful. However this is a football pub and was quite rowdy while the match was on. I've dropped it a star because the table next to us were told to leave because their dog was barking, it was not handled in the beat of manners. Again great food and service menu attached
Great little locals pub. Good beer selection.
