Such a cheerful and homely place to stop by. Great vibes and the food is out of this world! I always stop by whenever I go for my errands. Come as You are!
Thank You Hussein and thank You Gadz Cafe!

A favourite local spot. Their falafel is the best I've tried in London. Very decently priced, very nice people. Arabic coffee also a must. One of the places where being vegetarian doesn't mean limiting flavours. Drop by.

Incredibly good falafel wrap, best I've had since Berlin 10 years ago.

Amazing food, easy to make vegan if you ask, good prices, and really really friendly! I almost never review places, but I love this place to bits!

Amazing coffee and super friendly, the falafel wrap was so good and really good price. Thank you so much for everything Hussain, always so smiley and friendly. You make amazing espresso - from Elif :)

It’s never a habit of mine to review restaurants on google but Gadz cafe deserves this. I ordered a chicken shawarma box and received a falafel box instead but my goodness it was the best falafel that I tasted! The meal was fresh and healthy, great value for money too! What a lovely mistake that was!😂 I will definitely order again.
Thank you, Gadz cafe! Keep it up!

Decent veggie/vegan menu. Warm friendly service and beautiful presentation. The food looks too good to eat.
Notably more enjoyable to eat somewhere with hearts and pictures of Jeremy Corbyn everywhere

Great vegetarian boxes here, and nice homemade falafel. Good healthy food with variety, and won't break the bank

After my visit to The Park Theatre which ended at 4.45 I needed a cup of tea so, avoiding the chain coffee shops, I spotted Gadz.
Many people were sitting outside so it's a real community place where everyone knows everyone else.
I had expected just to have a take away tea, luckily the cafe has soy milk so it wasn't black tea and, as I commented that he's using my favourite choice of Soy (Just Free from Lidl) he was scolding another customer (a young bus driver) whose mother had said it was not good. That's the thing with this cafe, everyone knows the owner, his obsession with Jeremy Corbyn {there are pictures and hanging mobiles with his face on everywhere . . a real Labour strong hold} and he talks to them irreverently but they like it.
I did ask if he had an vegan cake, not expecting any, but the quality of amazing cakes on display was too much of a temptation for me and to my surprise he had some in the freezer which he brought out for me. I was delighted it was soft and gooey from being microwaved so I ate in with my tea and it would have been plated and my tea in a mug had I not ordered takeaway initially {cake £3 tea £1.20}
So next time you're near the Finsbury Park bus depot, turn right into Clifton Avenue and visit Gadz for down to earth, charm and vegan chocolate cake.

Lovely and friendly owner! The falafel was nothing short of amazing! The homely decor makes it an overall wonderful small cosy place to have a short and relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of busy north London :)
