Quick, cheap and cheerful! Good food too. Just what a busy Londoner on the move needs.

Eat is, in my opinion, about the best of the lunchtime chains. They serve three different soups and three different hotpot every day as well as pies and the usual sandwiches, pastries and drinks.
I have always found them to be clean and bright with helpful staff. This one is no different. It has seating upstairs where you can sit and watch the lunchtime drinkers/smokers outside the next door pub or you can go downstairs where there is more seating. I can't remember ever having to wait to be served here. That could be in part because I try not to be there at the peak lunchtime crush but they do seem able to turn over the meals very fast.
Overall, a good instance of a good chain for something to eat in or take away at lunchtime.
