A dream toy shop for young children and children at heart. Their eyes light up when they enter into the place ! You need to keep an eye out for your kids because it can get very instense with so many crowds and so much noise. There are loads of demonstrations and play areas for children to discover the toys. There are a few books but the selection isn’t too big.

Biggest Hamleys we've ever been too. Kids favorite go to place, this store is massive as it has lots of floors. Aside from the tons of toys and collectibles you can choose from. It is nice that there are toy demonstrations and places were kids can play and try out the toys. There is also an icecream store. Our favorite is the build a bewr area

We visited London on our honeymoon. To reminisce about London, I stopped by Hamleys Store to buy some souvenirs and meet the friendly staff <zeyad>. When he found out we were on our honeymoon, he gave us an unexpected gift and we were touched. The employee named <zeyad> who works at Hamleys Store left us with good memories, and Hamleys Store in London is the best toy store that gives the gift of happiness.

This is a childhood dream come true. This store is super fun, but can be overwhelming depending on how busy it is when you visit. The bathrooms are on the top floor near the cafe, which can be a lifesaver when you're spending such a long time in a giant store. Every toy you could want is here. If you have the time to check it out I definitely recommend it.

One of my favourite stores in London! It's definitely worth a visit, no matter if you're a child or an adult! There is always sometimes going on in the store. When you enter, some of the staff are dressed as different characters, and the window decorations change often. The staff are very helpful and friendly. My latest visit was right after King Charles' coronation, so there was a lot of coronation related decoration and displays. The store has 7 floors, and each one has a different theme - there are boardgames, baby toys, even a floor with Marver and Harry Potter characters. You can go up by escаlator or use the lift. Everything is very well organised and displayed. It's s really fun shop to visit!

I promised my son we would go to Hamleys while we were in London. It was toward the end of a long day and it seemed to take forever to walk there, but get there we did and on first appearance it was amazing! There were staff dressed up just in the doorway of the store dancing, and inside there were more staff stood all around showcasing some of the toys. Honestly it did look incredible. The smell that hits you as you walk in brings back the childhood nostalgia of books you’d read or movies you watched and could only have imagined! Sort of like hit melted chocolate, spun sugar and sweet pieces! The store is over four floors - we had to go up to the top to see the “boys” toys. My son initially was so excited he literally ran around and around the shop floor for five minutes flitting and darting from one aisle to the other. Unfortunately my son couldn’t find anything he’s really into right now, and was trying to decide what to buy, (here is my proud moment) after nearly 30minutes walking around and around this hot, stuffy, cramped full of kids and now overly-sweet smelling store, my son declared that there were no toys that he really wanted, and anything remotely interesting was overpriced anyway! The experience was well worth it, and Hamleys have really thought about the store setup with excited children in one half of their mind, and their adults buying in the other half! I definitely do recommend you go if you’re thinking about it, but be prepared to potentially pay a higher price than you could on the high street 🙏🏻
