It is a very authentic Vietnamese food restaurant with the best pork noodle soup in London. Make sure to get there early because this place is very popular and fills up quickly. The waiters are very friendly, great ambiance too.
I was recommended this place and it didn't disappoint.
We ordered the rare beef pho and the combo beef pho. Both were very good, the broth is prepared for 15-16hrs before so it is tasty.
I have visited quite a few Vietnamese restaurants around London and this pho is one of the best ones I have tried along with the one near King's Cross.
The service was quick and the food was also very quick to arrive.
HONEST REVIEW: I must say that this is one of the most delicious foods I have ever had for a very reasonable price. I went in a group of 4 people and we ordered combo beef pho, chicken w/ lemongrass noodles, stir fried duck and fried spring rolls. There were plenty of food for all 4 of us and we were very satisfied. With drinks and tips, we paid £18 each which is very reasonable for such incredible food. I can't say enough, definitely will come back and recommend it to everyone I know!!
6 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Amazing Vietnamese food in London, visited over 10 times in the course of a year to get a really great bowl of Pho and some beef wrapped in betal leaves. Service is quick and pleasant. One of my must visits when in London.
Another authentic and delicious Vietnamese restaurant discovered! I had heard good things about this place so I was super excited to be able to finally try it! I came here for dinner with 2 friends on the Easter Friday and glad we booked a table via phone a couple days I'm advance because it got extremely busy after 6:30!
We went all starving so we got the traditional pancake with tofu and beansprouts to share as a starter, then we each got a main. I went with the grilled pork and spring rolls bun cha for my main. The pancake was so crispy and massive and so worth the price as a starter. The tofu was nicely sauteed and stir fried with the beansprouts which was very pleasant. The bum cha was amazing, it was such a big portion of everything - pork spring rolls, grilled pork, salad and vermicelli noodles. Everything was so flavourful, it really filled my stomach up nicely and happily.
I really liked seeing how minimalistic the interior of the restaurant was because the choice of tables and chairs really gave off an old school South East Asian/ Vietnamese restaurant vibes which felt extremely homely to me as a East Asian. Definitely coming back to this place soon to try other things on their menu!
Consistently such an amazing Vietnamese restaurant. Have been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal.
Papaya salad was fresh and well spiced and bun noodle salad with chargrilled pork and spring rolls was divine.
Great for big groups as you can share lots of dishes. Can't recommend enough
Authentic and delicious! My go-to spot for a comforting bowl of pho. The flavors are spot on, and the service is always friendly. Highly recommended for anyone craving a taste of Vietnam.
At first we were refused entry at 9:55 because the restaurant closes at 10:30 but we begged the staff to let us in and they did. I don't know how I feel about that.
The Pho was not great but the soft shell crab is to die for. I would definitely go back for more (SOFT SHELL CRAB) and maybe then I would try another main dish.
The ambiance was bustling with energy and the crowd is probably a good sign
I’ve had A LOT of pho in my life.
From Vietnam to Hong Kong and London,, the search for perfect pho continues.
At Sông Quê Café, the pho is authentic and flavorful.
No frills.
The rare beef is delicious and goes perfectly with an ice cold Tiger beer!
Check it out!
Delicious food! Highly recommend the Pho and Bun Cha. Atmosphere was fun, definitely worth a visit. Lychee juice was refreshing!
