This is my first time in London and hands-down the most delicious sushi I have ever eaten. I am from California and even though I live right on the ocean, the fish quality here was superbly better than California. Karina, my waitress was absolutely lovely. I am traveling alone on vacation and she striked up a conversation which I really appreciated! The atmosphere is amazing. If you're in London you definitely need to try this Sushi restaurant! I can't wait to come back!
This has long been a favourite of ours for many years and despite the change in staff/chefs etc, food and service is always excellent. It is authentic, unpretentious and serves excellent quality fish. They now offer a special lunch time menu which is great value.
Book a table upstairs by the sushi bar for a real treat!
U.K. Home feel Japanese restaurant, good presentation and omakase, taking the best of both worlds. Staff speaks multi languages so everyone would be taken care of.
Thank you for the birthday song and ice cream. And with the help of staff I bought the sake glass i liked online!
Good place for some fresh and delicious sushi experience. I wouldn’t say it is a high end restaurant (despite the price), but very clean and pleasant atmosphere. Great value if you go for lunch!
This place is pricier than most other sushi places but their quality in food and staff are worth it. The venue is not very large with most people on the first floor seated at the sushi bar. The wait staff are very attentive to both your food/drinks and are very knowledgeable regarding every piece of sushi and garnishment provided.
The sushi is made in front of you and then sent to the kitchen for inspection prior to being served. The sake choices pairs very well with the Omakase offered.
The sushi is pretty good, but for the price point not good enough. I prefer Chisou, which is about the same price with slightly better quality fish. The Omakase was disappoininting and unoriginal. I had been here in the past when it was better. The soft shell crab salad, was average at best. The black cod miso was fantastic, so I can firmly recommend it. In the future, if I want to eat sushi in this economic bracket, it will not be my go to, but if someone invited me to eat here and wanted to pick up the bill, I'd be happy to oblige. It is certainly good sushi, it just doesn't measure up to its competitors.
Everything about this small traditional restaurant is absolutely fantastic. From the quality of the fish, to the techniques used, to the amazing kitchen and support staff. This is by far the best sushi restaurant I’ve tried in London and I genuinely urge everyone to try it. Whether you’re a group or alone this is the place to dine.
We have been numerous times to Yashin, over the years. Solid Omakase, overall, and top quality fish, though some of the pieces felt a bit too "lemony" to our taste.
Small sushi restaurant just off High Street Kensington. Watching the chefs work is a delight. They work at a very controlled pace as the craft the individual items and dishes. The waiting staff are friendly and knowledgable.
We opted for a couple of starters and the Omakase Eleven, and were very happy with the different tastes explosions offer by each morsel.
It's pricey, but it is Kensington! I definitely recommend eating at Yashin Sushi.
This is the best sushi place in London! I love that there is a no soya sauce policy . It is a bit pricey but the food was amazing. You won't go there every week when you're craving for sushis but if you want a treat with your better half it's definitely a good choice!
The starters are worth trying! The octopus, fried calamari and spicy edamame beans are delicious. The sushi platter is a unique experience that I will never forget!
