I've always gone here when they're throwing specific nights and it's one of my favourite venues by far. It's got a real local, understated vibe to it whilst still accomodating a fantastic night out. The drink prices are cheap and affordable, and as I'm more of a spirit + mixer over cocktails kind of person, there was a good selection. The stage part is on the smaller side, but adds to the intimacy of the venue. No matter who's there, you always end up talking to new people. The bar staff are really nice too. The security can be a little abrupt, but they get the job done and I'm not bothered. 100% recommend for genuine old school rock n roll vibes, no pretentious rubbish.

Cracking open plan style venue. Really good sound and good bar prices for the area. It's just outside the centre of Camden with restaurants and plenty of places on the same street for takeaways and coffees etc. It's got a pool table, quiz and fruit machines and plenty of seating around the bar.

This place is cracking. The bands are always top notch and I saw one of the best performances of my life here it was so good. The bar staff are epic and friendly and easy to get served. No egos that you sometimes find at some places. Just a good, fun place to enjoy some awesome rock and metal music from some very talented bands.

If the venue sold low alcohol/zero alcohol beers and ciders i'd go more regularly. There's no excuse to not sell at least 2 of these products in my opinion!! I'm sure there are plenty of metal heads and punks that drive or can't drink due to medication that would appreciate not being alienated!

Nice environment, good live shows and friendly staff. It's a cosy pub with booths and stalls at the bar. Plus seating area outside with tables as well.

It's becoming increasingly rare to find a grassroots music pub like this, with a lively and full calendar. Recently updated, has decent quality sound and staging, and a workmanlike drinks selection, reasonably priced. What's not to like! Cherish places like this, they (and the bands who gig them) need your support!
