Went in a few days ago Asked for a Doughnut a cream bun and a slice of that cake OVER THERE ,The bloke serving me Said "You can have a Doughnut a cream bun But not A SLICE OF THAT CAKE OVERTHERE.
He again replied You can have a Doughnut a cream bun but you can't have a slice of that cake over there.

I was very pleasantly surprised by Wenzel's. I have to confess that I was expecting it to be a little bit like Gregg's, however, their sandwiches are awesome - fresh, flavourful, and great value for money. Their doughnuts, carrot cupcakes, and sweet treats are also really nice, however, the product that surprised me the most is their raisin bread. I never thought I'd enjoy it but it's a surprisingly pleasant combination! I think Wenzel's baked goods are definitely worth a try.

I really like both branches on West End Lane. The staff are always friendly and enjoying working there, and the sourdough is absolutely wonderful. I also find the vegan rolls (veggie sausage roll type thing) delicious, the first time I thought 'uh-oh' and thought I was eating a meat one in error, but it's just the clever seasoning and herbs (sage and things) - surprisingly great, miles ahead of Greggs!
