Lamb skewer is one of my fav, and I’m so grateful to find this restaurant which does it so good!

Came back here for third time because the lamb skewers is really nice. Loved the cold noodle as well, goes very well with the BBQ meat. Good service as well, this place always need to book beforehand as the shop is quite small and always full during meal hours. Will definitely recommend!
This is our second time to Yan Ji. It’s one of very few BBQ restaurants in London that uses Charcoal for the BBQ. Our beef skewers were a little disappointing compared to last time, shouldn’t be marinated too much as we cant tell if it is cooked. The other dishes like grilled eggplant and cold noodles were great! Please improve the beef with less marinate and fresher meat, and it will be 5 stars.
If you are here, best to order more types of skewers and enjoy with rice or noodle dishes 👀🙌🏻

We ordered; skewers of chicken hearts, lamb and of beef. The kimchi is 10/10.
Fried chicken is out of this world 👽 made with (maybe) cornflakes. BBQ pork belly.

This place is a really a special find, not many real charcoal fire korean bbq places around. However, keep an eye on your food and if you don't, don't come here crying about overlooking your own food.
Came here for the first time and it was an amazing experience! The food was spot on! The meats were really nicely marinated and I enjoyed watching the skewers cook itself. The pork belly skewers were cooked inside for us as I believe that’s a bit more difficult for customers to cook to perfection themselves. The 3 sauces that came with it was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful. One was guiding us on how we should cook the meat so it’s perfectly done. Would definitely comeback again and highly recommended if you are craving for some nice bbq food cooked on the table.
Skewers are grilled for 5-7 mins only, very quick and tasted good. All dishes meet our expectations, not bad!

Food was great, service was good - they missed an item and the ended up giving another item by mistake. We paid by cash and they gave us a discount... which is always helpful. The space is cramped but the vibes were great. We got our own little room with our group, so it felt cosy.
This tiny shop was on my to do list for quite a while and today came here for the first time with my friends! The BBQ kit on the table is amazing. With the self-turning skewers, you don't really have to worry about whether the meat will be evenly grilled or not. The service is helpful as the staff are super experienced and they check each table all the time to make sure no one eats raw food.
Apart from BBQ, there are other classic Korean dishes available as well. The menu is not long but well thought out. Will definitely come back.
