Simit Sarayi

Located right in Leicester Square is this branch of Simit Sarayi. I got a cheese and olive melt and it was one of the greasiest pastries I've ever had. Like something out of Greggs (a cheap British chain of bakeries). Considering what's on sale is nothing more than varieties of pastries, most of it is fairly over-priced. It's location notwithstanding.

Very central location. Excellent customer service from staff they were warm and friendly. The environment was also clean and comfortable with lots of cakes and pastries to choose from to acompany ur beverage of choice, mines was a coffee👌. Each table location benefits from a power outlet to charge ur devices while u check ur emails.

The employees here are new, so expect many mistakes. The food is good and tastey, but their coffee is not like what the store in Turkey serves, it was very watery. The latte is OK. The turkish tea is good. During one of my visits, I had to wait 20 minutes just for the manager to finish chatting with some policemen. I would say this store is not going to stay in business until real management is assigned.
