This restaurant has a strong presence, there's always patrons and it's got a great pub vibe going. Menu for Sunday Roast is well organized and quick, also tastes and looks amazing when presented. Price is reasonable for the amount and quality of food. Drinks are great (very refreshing and if there's lime or added mint, it is very fresh and clean tasting). Service is very kind and personable, and we enjoyed going for the Sunday Dinner bustle.
Would highly recommend coming with a crowd (reservations is probably your best bet of getting in).
I've been to this pub a few times now and I've always had a great experience. The food is always delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting.
The beef burgers are juicy and flavorful, and the buttermilk chicken burgers are perfectly cooked. The fish and chips are also really good. The fish is flaky and the chips are crispy.

Amazing pub right next to Balham station. The staff are always great there and on this occasion Ana went above and beyond. I was unsure on what beer to order so she recommended I order the beer flight which is 1/3rd pint serving of 3 beers and I ended up going for all 3 of their Mondo's on tap. Great selection and unbeatable customer service. Looking like it's my new regular!!!!!
Good standard pub. Plenty of big screens to watch the football or rugby in the back room but none in the from room of you don't want it. Service to the table which is great. There's an outdoor area as well that I haven't been to for ages. Food is fine, this time I had a burger which was fine.
Large airy modern pub in Victorian building. Good vibe and plenty of sport to see. I remember, I think, it used to be called the Haymarket reflecting then its past rural connections. Good beer selection with both ales from the hand pump and select lagers. Didn't have the food but looked great. Staff super friendly and relaxed. Highly recommended.
Dog friendly, but owners caused a H&S issue with dog leads for you to trip over. Very noisy, difficult to have a conversation.

Amazing roast! The food is definitely great and the plates are filling, which is good! Its a cozy pub so it was nice to be there! Christmas time obviously makes it crowded and noisy but in the good way :)
I Came to the regent for brunch with my family to celebrate my brothers birthday on a Sunday morning and had the most accommodating server who went above and beyond, though we did not get her name (she was a blonde young girl). Will definitely be coming back !!

I had 4 hours to kill whilst waiting for my son in the area to finish a course, and I needed somewhere to work from remotely. I decided against going to a coffee shop and was glad to have found this place.
I got a lovely large table by the window, ordered a brunch - Poached eggs, avocado on toast, fries and a drink on a meal special. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Service was spot on - everyone there was really nice - with water being bought over to me without me having to ask. Coffee here was good too! Wifi was strong and allowed me to work there with no issues. I wish I had a pub like this near me! If I am in the area again, I know where to go. Thank you for the great service!
