Great restaurant had - a delicious food there! Highly recommended.
The restaurant itself is lovely, not overly large or small, just the right size, cosy and inviting. My reason for 4* food, the portions are very large, the quality, the taste, very good it's just a lot of food on a plate, we had to end up taking it away. Some may not mind this, but it's easier to eat enough at the restaurant itself, so just a criticism of my opinion. But thank you for a lovely evening, we will return. Thank you. Highly recommend the wine. It's a half sweet wine. Absolute favourite Romanian white wine.
Amazing place!
I had chicken schnitzel with mashed potatoes and a lemonade. The food portions were huge. They put a few mint leaves in the lemonade, which made it taste fantastic.
I was a little bit weary before ordering it from Deliveroo after seeing the very polarized reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised! I got grilled salmon and vegetables, and it’s really tasty and fresh! Not oily at all and very refreshing - good for people who watch their diet like me. Love it, will order again!
Nice restaurant, pretty clean. Big portions and fair prices. Tasty traditional romanian food. Service not bad but with room for improvement. Overall, was a good experience. We will come back.

The food is fresh( not like Zizi or other big chains where the food looks like food but no taste), my diet is plant base and even though you can’t find on menu then vegan food they can always make it vegan. service was nice - felt like home. Will be back for that delicious soup for sure.

Good authentic Romanian food. Great cabbage rolls. Grill as well. Bread is not to impressive by Romanian standards. Overall a good experience. Will go back.

I don’t live anywhere near here but was walking past today with a friend and we went in . We have both been to Romania on holiday a few times and love the food and the whole country. One slightly weird thing with Romanian restaurants in London is that they always seem genuinely surprised to get British customers, and here was no exception, but the staff were very friendly. I had a mixed grill because my favourite Romanian food is Mici, which are small beef croquettes/kebabs. Sometimes they are translated as ‘kofta’ which is a misleading translation - but anyway they are great. Also there were good Romanian sausages, chicken and pork steak, chips and all for ten pounds. My friend had samale which is stuffed cabbage leaves packed into a pan and stewed. Usually it’s served with chopped cabbage from the bottom of the pan. I had some amazing ones in Iasi and these were very good. It comes with a kind of polenta called mamaliga which I like. We both had papanasi for dessert, which are kind of like doughnuts with fruit compote and sour cream. They usually have little balls of dough on top, these didn’t but anyway they were excellent. A pint of lager and a coke and two coffees and the bill was forty pounds, which is very good value. The restaurant suggests that they are a buffet restaurant, but I don’t think they are.
The food was good, but the exterior was dirty and couldn't pay contactless.
