It was our first day of vacation in London. Early morning we visited our first attraction Madam Tussad. It was 12.30 pm we came out and we were really hungry. This restaurant is right adjacent to this Madam Tussad museum. We opted this place for our first lunch in City of London. So we're excited and expecting something nice food.
A small restaurant with old style ambience. Perfect to have quick food. They have food almost ready and you can choose your Quick bytes like Pizzas, sandwiches, lasagne and many different non veg rice or noodles options.
The idea is to get food with self service and get your table to have the food after you make the payment. Believe me no trouble with self service as the things are very simple to understand and choose.
They do have decent salad bar from where you can choose good salad options.
We tried lasagna, a big pizza piece and a veg fried rice for my 6 years old daughter. Lasagna was very nice. Pizza is good to have but not something extra special taste. Fried rice was below average. But overall you will not disappointed with food options available here.
At the end we had strawberry icecream scoop which was a part of meal we choose. Ice cream was awesome and made with fresh strawberries.
Ambience is nice. Italian theme will give you a good feeling. Personally I like this kind of self service culture for quick food.
Staff was really helpful and guided me pretty well for choosing food for my small daughter. Provided service on table for my daughter. Appreciated for great service.
I'm Portuguese and I went with 3 friends to take the English breakfast. I'm not a regular English breakfast consumer but this was a really good experience. The beans was greats and the tomato with oregano and mushrooms was superb. We take the breakfast with black coffee at 11 am we just eat again at 7pm. I think that was a good option. And the staff was very nice and know some words in Portuguese, that's lovely
It is a small coffee hidden away from the main Marylebone street, in a smaller street. It has outdoor seating with an extensive view towards Madame Tussauds.
The place itself is a cafe although it also serves food and alcohol. I used to go there for quick breaks from the university. You can spend around £10 for one person and the service is extraordinary. The staff there is quite pleasant and helpful at all the times.
Definitely recommend it if you fancy a small cosy cafe situated in Central London.
This was a lovely find. The service is friendly, the food and drinks are delicious. The pizzas we ordered were completely made to order, no imported dough, all made by hand. The mocha was far better than any of the chain coffee shops.
And the prices are very reasonable.
All in all a wonderful family run restaurant. Thank you
I love it.
I have never had a flat white that nice.
The food is amazing.
Highly recommended
I've had a large black coffee (3.50£) here with a vegan chocolate pudding (5.99£) and it was delicious and filling.
I give 4☆ because the lower part of this café shop urgently needs an AC - extreme lack of air so that's the only minus.
Staff were pleasant and kind.
Well, overall it is ok.
+ Great location
+ Hot food which is suitable for kids
+ quick service (fronm in till out less than 40 mins)
+ Real Italian beer and gelatto
- Quality of food isn't worth 4 stars.
- Not cheap
- A bit confusing type of restaurant (take a tray, choose food but not necessary you take it straight away, find your table).
Overall if you are in the rush and want to feed yourself or kids with something better then crisps that place is what you are looking for.
Perfect for getting a meal or snack right after Madame Tussauds, as it's conveniently located near the exit of Madame Tussauds 😉 The food was alright. They've self service and does table service as well.
My son and I were made to feel soooo welcome! Coffee was so good I got a take out to have when left. Food was delicious! We will call in on every trip to London now! Family owned gem!!
Great location, next to a main attraction. Really big cups of coffee, generous breakfast, reasonable prices. Nice staff and atmosphere. Great dessert selection.
Arrived early to Madame Tussaud’s so thought we’ll have some food beforehand. Went in and were not disappointed. Decent food and quite a big variety for a small place. We all (8 people) had different stuff and all looked and tasted good.
Initially I found it expensive but then it was for 8 and in London on the doorstep of Madame Tussaud’s so if you work out it’s very reasonably priced.
The only thing bothered me slightly that the lady on the shop floor was somewhat overly eager and nice.
Definitely go back again if I’m around.
I went to Madame tuassauds with my mom, and we came half an hour early, and had nothing to do, so came here as it was near by. We came inside, staff were friendly and kind. We had a margherita pizza for £8.99p for 6 slices. It was delicious. Absolutely amazing!! I also had a hot chocolate, however, it was highly expensive yet really sweet. But overall, the pizza and services was amazing. Highly reccomend if prices were lower and the hot choco was properly mixed, I'd give it a 5star! :) ✨
Good Breakfast Restaurant.. Not really Special but good
